Of the 11 players who finished among the Top 10 and ties at the Waialae Country Club in Hawaii, nine relied upon Titleist golf balls, including four who trusted the New 2009 Pro V1. Titleist was also first in iron sets (42), wedges (134) and putters (48).
Elsewhere, an eagle at the 72nd hole saw defending champion and Titleist Ambassador Martin Kaymer (Pro V1, 909F3 fairway metal, 585.H hybrid, ZM Forged irons, Vokey Design wedges) finish in a tie for second with South Africa's Louis Oosthuizen (Pro V1x) at the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship. The pair finished at 20-under 268; one shot off the winning total. Six of the top seven finishers relied upon Titleist golf balls for their success, while Titleist was the most played golf ball at the Abu Dhabi Championship with 66 players, nearly three times more than the nearest competitor.
A fifth PGA victory for Zach Johnson at the Sony Open and a top ten leaderboard filled with Titleist Ambassadors, prove once again that the game’s elite continue to opt for the matchless performance of Titleist.
