Several Titleist Brand Ambassadors are currently playing their rookie seasons on the PGA Tour, having qualified from either last year's Nationwide Tour money list or PGA Tour Qualifying School.

And now that we've hit the Florida Swing, we thought it would be a good time to start introducing a few of them to Team Titleist.

First up: Titleist Brand Ambassador Bobby Gates, who we caught up with recently at our Oceanside (Calif.) Test Facility just outside of San Diego. He is the field at this week's Honda Classic.

Bobby, 25, won in his Nationwide Tour debut last season (Michael Hill New Zealand Open), finishing 16th on the money list to earn full PGA Tour playing privileges for 2011. A 2008 graduate of Texas A&M, Gates also made the cut at last year's U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, where he finished tied for 40th.

Last week, Bobby recorded his best career PGA Tour finish to date, tying for fifth at the Mayakoba Golf Classic.

He also could go for a big rib-eye steak right about now – but we'll let him tell you more about that... Check out his Rookie Q&A in the video above. (Mobile users click here.)

You can follow Bobby on Twitter at @BobbyGatesGolf.

(Bobby also gave us a tour of the Titleist equipment in his bag, which we'll have in an upcoming post.)
