In an all Titleist Pro V1x golf ball final four at the WGC Accenture Matchplay Championship, Pro V1x loyalist Hunter Mahan topped Titleist brand ambassador Rory McIlroy in the championship match, 2&1.
Despite falling four behind after 10, Rory battled back with a chip-in for eagle at the eleventh and three birdies from the 13th. But Mahan wasn't for capitulating and he fired birdies at two of those holes to match Rory and put himself in position to close out the match at the 17th. In the match for third and fourth places, Pro V1x loyalist Mark Wilson bounced back from his semi-final defeat by Rory in the morning to triumph over fellow Pro V1x loyalist Lee Westwood.
Titleist was the overwhelming ball of choice at the WGC Accenture Matchplay Championship with 38 players, more than four times as many as the nearest competitor.
Elsewhere, on the PGA Tour, the winner of the Mayakoba Golf Classic put his trust in the Pro V1 golf ball to see him to victory in a play-off.
Again, Titleist was the overwhelming ball of choice at The Mayakoba Golf Classic with 87 players, compared to 14 for the nearest competitor.
At the HSBC Women's Champions in Singapore on the LPGA Tour, Pro V1 loyalist Angela Stanford emerged victorious from an all-Titleist four-way playoff.
Stanford saw off Jenny Shin (Pro V1), Shanshan Feng (Pro V1x) and Na Yeon Choi (Pro V1x) to claim her fifth LPGA title.
On the Sunshine Tour in South Africa, Pro V1x loyalist Keith Horne captured the Telkom PGA Championship by three shots - the fifth win of his Sunshine Tour career.

This was a standout weekend for Titleist brand ambassadors, as they recorded wins on the European Tour, the PGA Tour, the PGA of Australasia Tour and the Sunshine Tour – a feat boosted still further by victories for Titleist ball loyalists on the LPGA and Champions Tours!
Titleist staffer Jbe Kruger shot a final round 3-under 69 to secure victory in confident style at the Avantha Masters in New Delhi on the European Tour. Kruger’s 14-under total put him two shots clear of Pro V1x loyalist Marcel Siem and one other. This was Jbe's first win on the European Tour, building on his previous best third position at the 2010 Africa Open and continuing the momentum from his 9th place finish at the Joburg Open this season.
The 25-year old South African becomes the 399th different winner on the European Tour and moves to 109th in the Official Golf World Rankings.

Titleist was the overwhelming ball of choice at the Avantha Masters with 87 players, compared to 17 for the nearest competitor.
Following up on his FedEx Cup title last year, Titleist brand ambassador Bill Haas relied on the Pro V1x golf ball and a full bag of Titleist clubs to secure victory in dramatic style at the Northern Open on the PGA Tour.
After closing with a 7-under 277 total, Haas rolled in a 45-foot birdie putt on the second hole of a three-way playoff to capture his fourth PGA Tour title at the famed Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles.
In doing so, Haas advanced to No.12 in the world and has now recorded at least one PGA TOUR event in each of the last three years.

His 7-under total was enough to edge Pro V1x loyalist Leighton Lyle by one shot. It also sends Paddison off to defend his Queensland PGA Championship title in confident mood.
Oliver Bekker (Pro V1x, 910D3 driver, 910F fairway metal, MB irons, Vokey Design wedges, Scotty Cameron putter) captured his maiden Sunshine Tour victory when he fired a final round 2-under 70 to capture the Dimension Data Pro-Am.
The Titleist brand ambassador finished two shots clear of fellow Titleist brand ambassador Tyrone Ferreira (Pro V1x, 910D2 driver, 910F fairway metal, CB irons, Vokey Design wedges) and Pro V1x loyalist Thomas Aiken.
The six win weekend was topped off when Pro V1x loyalist Yani Tseng successfully defended her Honda LPGA Thailand title for her first win of the year and fellow Pro V1x loyalist Kenny Perry captured his second career Champions Tour title, cruising to a five-shot win at the ACE Group Classic.
