Following the start of the tour validation process for the new prototype 913 drivers last week on the PGA Tour, the momentum continued this week on the European Tour.

It began Monday morning on the range at the Open de France, when France's own Victor Riu teed up his first Pro V1x golf ball and sent it hurtling down the range of Le Golf National.

During that first day of fitting, testing and feedback with Titleist Tour Technicians Phil Dimmock and Mattias Jelver. a further five players got their hands on the prototype 913 drivers.

James Kingston, Guillaume Cambis, Michael Jonzon, Tano Goya and Adrian Otaegui all got dialled in to their optimum shaft and SureFit Tour hosel combinations.

Titleist ambassador Matteo Manassero was an early arrival on Tuesday morning, as he got down to work with Mattias - leaving the range with a big smile on his face!

And the players kept coming, eager to get fitted and see what was different about the 913 drivers - Oscar Floren, Jbe Kruger, George Coetzee and Andrew Dodt all spent time with Phil or Mattias during the course of Tuesday morning.

We'll bring you more on the rest of Tuesday and the whole of Wednesday during the course of tomorrow - plus details of another special fit on the European Tour last week!
