I've had my 910D3 since January 2011. Just recently, the ferrule has started to slip up the shaft a little. It has not yet come totally loose. Is this going to cause any performance issues?

Like others have said, dab of glue is a 5 minute solution.

Re: 910D ferrule

I had this problem with both my shafts. Heat the ferrule with hairdryer and it slides back into position no problem. Then all it needs is some araldite to hold it secure.

Just buy some araldite and glue it yourself it is that easy.

Re: 910D ferrule

Hi Steven,

No performance issue - it's just whether it bothers you aesthetically.

Your pro can talk to our returns department and see if there is a cost for it to be re-glued.

Hope this helps.
