Share your experiences of the new NXT Tour, NXT Tour S, Velocity or DT SoLo here....

Did you shoot your lowest score ever? Win your weekend roll up? Break 80 for the first time? Make a hole-in-one? Get up-and-down from a seemingly impossible lie? Are you considering a change from another brand to Titleist based on their performance?

We'd love to hear about your experiences and success stories while playing the New NXT Tour, NXT Tour S, Velocity or DT SoLo golf balls that we sent you recently. Even if you haven't yet shot out the lights, we would still appreciate your feedback on how the new golf balls played.

So feel free to share your experiences and thoughts. We're looking forward to reading them!

Thanks

- Neil

hi received 2 velocity and dt balls this morning.Pleasent suprise thankyou. i took the velocity out and was very impressed with the explosion of the driver face (partners line). they felt solid and for me appeared to go truer and further than my usual dt solo's. However with irons i was 10-20 yds shorter due to higher flight, obviously that can be sorted at the range. Playing again Saturday and will try the new dt solo you sent. many thanks again Ian
Thank you Titleist, these samples were the best. I can't wait until the velocity balls are released. I used to play the old dt solo's but I will be switching to the velocity balls when they come out. Thank you Team Titleist

hi titleist, tried out the nxt tour s today, really enjoyed the feedback i recieved from the ball. the spin rates were great, amazing stopping control and bite. great off the tee too, good dispersion rates. going to try the new nxt tour,

thanks, alistair

I found the Velocity balls gave me atleast 5 yards on the dt solo balls every time and where almost as controllable, however for control and spin i preferred the dt solo's! i shot a decent round, a shot below my handicap and i think after using each ball for 9 holes i really did prefer the velocity ball overall as i am not really a player who struglles for control but could do with a few yards! thankyou for the free test balls, they are top quality! Elliot

Hi I have just tried the new NXT Tour ball and reckon its given me an extra 10 yards plus it feels a loft softer than the 2010 model which I have been using for the last 12 months or so. Its certainly a ball I will be using.

Neil,

Thank you Titleist for the free samples,As I always use NXT balls, I played at the weekend, 18/02/12, quite chilly and cold, and used  your new Velocity ball, it performed very well in the conditions, would like to say the same about my game, but can't, no scuffs or cut marks. Had a good feel off the club head, and worked well with my short game, also the ball felt good off the putter head as well.

Will try out the NXT during this week and will share findings.

Tried the NXT Tour and Velocity on the practice range and putting green today. Allowing for my 11 handicap level of consistency, the velocity travelled a bit further than the NXT Tour but felt a little harder. Neither seemed to be affect by side spin. Against other brands the grouping was closer than most. On and around the green I much preferred the feel of the NXT Tour. - Geoff

Got my NXT Tour & NXT Tour S balls, love the NXT Tour S balls, it's like having a Pro V1 for my handicap & swing speed, I'm a 16 year old girl with a 20 handicap & was all set for a different Tour ball suited to my swing speed but I think the NXT Tour S will be replacing that ball, felt great off the clubface & for short game was awesome. One ball did scuff a bit but the other was fine. The NXT Tour ball was good & did go a little further but for me its the NXT Tour S ball.

Hi I have just tried the NXT Tour ball which I found to be a good 5/10 yards longer than the 2010 model and it felt softer off the face especially with the irons.

I will certainly be trying these over the coming months.

Hi Neil, tried both Velocity and DT Solo balls at my home course and found the Velocity ball very much comparable to any other ball I have used for winter golf. Softish feel but long and straight. The DT Solo ball I would say is more suited for the middle to high handicap player. Now that im getting back into golf more this spring I hope to get my handicap back down and I will be trying the new NXT Tour and NXT Tour S.

the titleist dt solo are really nice  and i broke 80 with it today  and got up and down alot easier and the ball is going alot further recommend it to everyone to buy

Played the Velocity today. Temperature was only 4C. The immediate thing I noticed was the additional height the flight of the ball got. 3 iron off the tee but the flight was more like a 5 or 6 iron. This remained a consistent feature throughout. Along with this came extra yards never less than 5 yards but when struck pure gave 15 to 20 off a 3 iron. In and around the greens, ball felt soft and stopping was good. Overall I was very impressed with this ball. I haven't tried the new NXT Tour yet but at the moment the Velocity could easily become my new favourite ball.

I will get the NXT Tour in play next week, if it's anything near as good as the Velocity, I can't wait to try it.

Many thanks Titleist for the opportunity to try these new balls. I am normally a bit conservative and reluctant to try new balls, but I am stunned by these.

Firstly, thanks for sending me the samples of the new DT Solo and Velocity balls.  Really nice Friday surprise!!

Today was my first round this month, so the game was a bit rusty.  I started off using the new DT Solo, really like the fact that the AIM markings are now black, just makes the ball look a bit classier.  Same great feel and distance as the previous model, the greens are very soft at the moment so I quite often found the ball near it's pitch mark.  I hit a couple of chip and run shots and ball behaved excactly as I expected it to.  The DT felt very solid off the putter ( Insert putter ) and I had a good control of distance.

Next up was the Velocity, the orange numbers really mark this ball out as something different, although as with the DT the AIM is black, which looks classic when putting.  I really did notice this ball flying a few yards further than the DT Solo, a couple of times I was just off the back edge of the green on approach shots.  With the driver I didn't really catch a good one, although the ball was always further than my misses would normally be, and not as wide either.  I nearly holed a couple of chips with the Velocity, so I didn't feel as if lost anything in the short game, again the ball felt nice and solid with the putter.

I think it's fair to say that I could easily put either ball into play on a regular basis.  The DT Solo is a very solid ball that I may well start the year with.  It offers a nice balance of low spin off the longer irons and a bit more spin with the scoring irons, but not too much to make my misses too bad.  If I was playing a longer course I may well choose the Velocity for the extra yards I gained, although i'd probably have to alter the clubs i'm used to using into the greens.

Thanks again Titleist.

Loved the feel of the NXT Tour S.

Very soft feel for the short game, and the spin generated on mid and short irons was great.

Certainly felt better than my current NXT Tour's
