I received two NXT tour balls and two Velocity balls, thank you.

I played my course over two separate weeks in pretty much the same conditions, windy and slightly wet. On the first week I played with the NXT Tour and the following week with the Velocity. The Velocity balls are probably 10-15 yards longer off the tee with my driver and they have a more penetrating flight path than the NXT Tour. The new NXT tour are an improvement and provide great feel on and around the greens, they are a better ball than the Velocity in this department and I would recommend the NXT tour for any mid-handicap player. Both balls are very durable with little or no marks on them after a full round of golf. I would consider using the NXT Tour as my preferred golf ball from now on.

Thanks very much Titleist you've done it again. I recieved the NXT Tour and the NXT Tour S balls. The NXT Tour S balls are softer than i would normally have chosen but still a great ball flight and have great control around the greens. I prefer a more solid feel when playing and the new NXT Tour balls are just that. Still a great all round ball.  Thanks Kevin

Hi Neil, thanks so much for the samples, a lovely surprise. I've not used the NXT Tour for a couple of years as I found them to be quite hard, but the new balls are a massive improvement, with lovely feel of the clubface and putter. The NXT Tour S is noticeably softer and unfortunately I managed to cut one with my second shot, a pitching wedge from the middle of the fairway. I've been playing AD333's of late but the NXT Tour is going into my bag from now on, lovely feel, great bite around the greens and you get some great feedback with short game shots and putting. A real eye opener, thanks so much.

Hi Neil tried the NXT Tour S last weekend, what a great ball, nice solid feel off the driver good distance and very little side spin. But the biggest attribute for me was the distance control. I gained a little more back spin on approach shots, and i had my best day on the par threes in a long while. Knowing the ball will stop gave me confidence to go at pins -2 on the par threes and more improvement expected, this is the ball for me from now on. Thank You Titleist

The nxt tour was great the way it performed in windy conditions. Really good ball flight and to my playing partners surprise, the ball didnt seem to slice as much.

The nxt tour s was very simular but didnt travel as far but made up for it around the greens. Great feel coming off the club and putter.

Cant wait for them to come into my pro shop, as i think they both could help me get my handicap down.

If i had to choose one of them i think i would go for the nxt tour s, just for the feel it has around the greens.

Hi, Thanks for the free samples,

Played with the Velocity ball first, it has a similar flight to my normal ball (AD333) off the driver but seemed to fly higher off my irons. I like that anyway as it gives me more control on the green. Only down side was seemed to be soft off my putter (Odessey White hot two ball) with a bit of practice i could sort that out.

Played the DT solo the next day, again similar flight to the Velocity, was a bit shorter off the T. again seemed to fly higher off my irons than the AD333. Softer off the putter as with the velocity, but again with practice I could improve that.

Overall, I liked the Velocity ball the best seemed to be quicker off the driver and no issues from my irons, I just need to sort out my putter - may require a replacement!

Thanks agin for allowing me to test drive the new balls - my playing partner was not happy.

I will be changing to the velocity ball asap - any more lying about just put them in the post I am converted.

First of all thanks for the samples. Tried out the Velocity yesterday. Have to say very impressed. Nice soft feel and control off the face of both woods and irons, long and short game. Putting was very good and the alignment marker is excellent. Distance wise difficult to tell any personal improvement at the moment with heavy ground, however, as the weather and ground conditions change I believe increased distance will be achieved. So much so I've pre-ordered a dozen to start the new season off !!!! Going to try the DT Solo at the weekend. Thanks again.

Quite impressed with the Velocity and DT balls.  Velocity adds some yards over the DT and remains as good as the DT around the greens. Only downside of the Velocity is that the cover didn't last as long as the DT.  Either way both balls will be in my bag for the coming season. Think you are on a winner!!.

Many thanks for the trial packs of NXT Tour and Tour S. What a nice surprise to get them through the post and to be asked for feedback.

Have now tried both types and prefer the Tour S as I seem to get more distance and feel around the greens. Managed a gross 78 yesterday with the Tour S but despite having 41 Stableford points I still only came second!

The only downside is lack of any homing device. My course has a lot of OB and boundary walls are the curse of a good medal round. One of the Tour balls managed to go awol after only 4 holes. Needless to say I was heartbroken.

Thanks again and I will definitely be using Tour S from now on.

Hi, thank you titleist as i received 2 of each NXT tour And NXT tour S and used one of each over the weekend the first thing i noticed was the tour was softer feel than my existing NXTs and appeared to go a few yards longer but definitely straighter, as 13 handicapper could not notice much, if any ,difference with the S derivative, but like both balls as they have nice feel on driver and irons. ironically i have started to use the pro v1x which has a harder feel off the driver but does go a bit further as this was a recommendation from the titleist ball fitting on line system. have in past year switched to titleist from srixon and am very well satisfied, and reduced handicap by 3 in last 6 months.Keep up the good work Alan

Hi, Is there anything more satisfying than teeing up a new white ball and hitting it straight down the middle on the first hole? Yes when that new white ball is free!!! Loved the new velocity balls.Extra distance(5-10m) off the tee helped me draw with my father in law for the first time this weekend. Now looking forward to beating him in Easter. Thanks Titleist.

Thankyou for the NXT Tour and NXT Tour S balls. As the weather has bween quite cold I have been using the 'S' ball.With this ball albeit on a shortened winter course I broke 70 gross for the first time ever, Course is Par 70 and my handicap is 7. Well done Titleist. Thanks very much.

Having now tried both the new NXT Tour and NXT Tour S, I found both balls are very good to hit. The NXT Tour S is noticeable softer in feel when hitting shots, but the ball still performs as well as the NXT Tour for distance. Ball flight was very good from both versions, even on a cold windy Scottish morning. Happy using any of these balls, although I did like the feel from the NXT Tour S. Alistair

Usually play a Sirixon soft feel during the winter, and the Titliest tour during the summer.Played bot Velocity and the Titliest Tour over the last couple of rounds and found that will be playing the Velocity next winter, and the new NXT Tour during this coming spring/summer. So a vcery big thank you to TITLIEST av enjoyed the last few rounds with this years new ball...
