Didn't want to reply earlier as wanted to try out my new balls on some decent courses!

Used the nxt tour balls on Kingsbarns two weeks ago! What a course! Perfect weather,what views. Greens were superb. The balls ran like a dream off the putter face, if I was still scoring by then! Pipped to nearest the pin by a few inches on the 8th. If I hit them straight they stay straight. Must try that more often!

Moved on to Rosemount @ Blairgowrie. You lucky members! My balls ran like a dream,until I lost one. I would appreciate its return. It has a "P" marked in black around the number. Please send it back as I am missing it! It's fellow sleeve dweller went on to win nearest the pin on the 17th. That was enough to win a box of balls, solos of course, and help the team to 1st place and a Blairgowrie shirt

Then to Carnoustie! I am not a golfer after all. Stupid of me to think otherwise,anyway. My solos are marked the same if anyone feels the urge to repatriate them. Still if you putt them on those superb greens they roll like a dream.

Thank you for the balls,great product. Run out of the samples so maybe its about time you brought out a newer version, or maybe I could sample your new improved ball scoop.

Hi Neil, played with the Titleist Velocity at the weekend in cold conditions and they made a big difference off the tee. I got round in 1 under the CSS to finish in the top 15 for the Spring Cup. Looking forward to trying out NXT balls you also sent me.

Thanks Titleist for the samples, can't give you much feedback as I teed up the Velocity at St Andrews and promptly hooked it into the gorse and lost it! So, if you found one of these on the 3rd hole on the Eden Course let me know how it plays!

Very annoying but thanks for the samples (the others by the way I gave to friends to try....)

Hi, tried both NXT Tour and Tour S over the last couple of weeks and there is a definite difference between the two and both are better than the previous NXT Tour ball. Think I might have to convert to the Tour S!

Hi Neil,

What a lovely surprise it was to receive your package in the post a number of weeks ago. I didn't want to use the balls during the Winter as the greens on our course have been running very slow and the surfaces have been very bumpy since recent drill/fill Spring work!

I had an opportunity to play the K Club (Ryder Cup Course) last week with a society and reckoned it was the ideal time to try out the NXT Tour S. What a superb ball. Great solid feel of the tee and superb control around the greens. I walked away with the visitors prize so a wonderful start to the season!

Medal Comp in our club this weekend to I'll be trying the new NXT Tour.

Thanks again, you have certainly earned a loyal repeat customer.

Thanks for the NXT Tour and Velocity balls.I have to say although I liked them both very much the NXT ball is heading straight into my bag. I have found another 10 yards off the tee and seem to have the same feel around the greens as before so its a bonus all round

First outing with the new Velocity ball at Easter and it worked brilliantly. Long off the driver, good spin close up and some long putts rolling in. I went for the double digits to be a little different and they look great.

Have now played the new NXT Tour and NXT Tour S sample balls over both parkland and links courses. The Tour has been my ball of choice for some time, and still like the new Tour. However, the new Tour S feels noticeably better off the club face and I was particularly impressed with it on the links courses on and around the greens.I've bought my first dozen Tour S and envisage this being my ball of choice from now on.

Thanks again for sending the new DT Solo and Velocity balls. I love the new DT and it's new softer feel but I'm permanently sold on the new velocity. The way it comes off the face of my driver is perfect, yards have been added but the ball still has the capability to spin and stop on the green. You have won me over with your new balls and I won't be going back to my usual Srixon

A wonderful surprise to receive the balls. Finally got out and tried NXT Tour S, what a great ball. The feel is exceptional around the greens and a few extra yards have been gained. Have recommended these to my playing partners and sung the praises to any member who is willing to listen!! Good job Titleist.

Thanks for the samples - a very welcome surprise!

I got out onto the course twice this week to try out the new Velocity balls and eventually managed to lose both after 30 holes!!! I thought the performance was on a par with other 'Distance' balls (I have used a Distance model in the recent past) so that the Velocity ball (like another manufacturer's equivalent) I thought felt 'hard' and not in a very comforting way.

I am looking forward to trying out the DT SoLo on my next outings but to be honest, After trying the online Ball Fitting guide, I'm going through a transition / trial between AD333 and NXT Tour S at the moment.

...I'm not sure that either the Velocity or DT SoLo balls are going to find higher favour than those?

Thanks to Titleist I recieved the new NXT Tour and NXT Tour S balls. I was amazed at the difference between the old balls and the new NXT's. I started with the NXT Tour on the front 9 this weekend and was surprised with the difference in my driving distance and ball flight compared to the previous NXT. But then I tried the Tour S on the back 9, WOW what a ball great distance from the tee and the feel with the wedges and on the green was amazing. As ever a great step forward by Titleist. Recieved my NXT Tour S recently and played with a friend over his, long, home course over the next couple of days. Finished my third round with the same ball I started with which is a new one on me. Love the feel of the ball and feel confident trying to move the ball rather than just hit it as hard as I can.

Hi Titleist I'd just like to say thanks for the golf balls to try, the Velocity ball I really liked, giving me I beleve an extra 20 yards on my driving and being straight and high with my Irons. I've yet to give the DT solo a decent try, putting the one I tried into a lake (they don't float) so will give the other one a chance to shine in the near future.

Thank you Titleist for sending me the Velocity and DT Solo golf balls. First game of the season was at a new venue and with a new ball, normally use a srixon ball and have done for some time, but so impressed with Velocity will definitely change and hope the performance enhancement continues.

Finally got out on the course to try the new NXT Tour S.. 1st Tee 3 iron smashed it straight down the middle and loved the feeling off the club face!

Like the feel and control around the green.. though my short game was a little rusty after a 3 week lay off! Will be paying a visit to shops to buy some more!

Neil,

I played in our first Medal of the year on Sunday with the balls you sent out. I used the NXT Tour on the front nine and the NXT Tour S on the back nine. Not much difference score wise but found the Tour S was a lot longer off the tee. Highlight of the day was hitting the par five 16th easily in two and just lipping out for eagle. Overall I thought the Tour was slightly better as I found the Tour S just a little to soft for my game. Thanks for balls it was a nice surprise.

Tried both the DT Solo and Velocity balls last week for the first time and didn't find I was hitting one further than the other so from a consistency point of view I was happy. I played the majority of my round with the DT Solo as I felt much more comfortable striking the ball and controlling the distance.

Thank you Titleist for sending me the Velocity and DT Solo golf balls.

Having used both balls I am impressed how good both balls feel around the green, so not much in it between the two in that department.

Again both the Velocity and the DT Solo had good flight, but the Velocity seemed to have slightly greater distance.

I did shoot me best round with the Velocity and I feel it worked better for me than DT Solo.

However the DT Solo is still a good ball.

Tried out the new NXT Tour ball in a recent winter league match, noticed slightly more length a definite improvement in control and consistency, all of which contributed to a 5&4 win, happy days.

Hi Neil, Thankyou for the Velocity and DT balls to try. I tried the Velocity and was very impressed the first time i used them....However, i thought i would give it a few more rounds before commenting. I love these Velocity balls, they are fantastic....For me anyway. They explode off the driver effortlessly with a sound that makes you feel like you have crushed it to death and taught it a lesson. The flight was far straighter and longer than anything I have used before, and have hit more fairways consistantly in the last 5 games than i ever have. Normally i struggle to keep the ball down with my irons and driver, but these balls have given me feel and control i have only had glimpses of in the past. Playing on my usual course meant i could gauge accurately my distance. Overall , my distance has increased by upto 15 yards with my irons and a good 20 with the driver. Most importantly is the control and accuracy that has come with it. I cannot tell you what the DT balls are like as i am that pleased with the Velocity i dare not change. I will absolutely be changing to these Velocity balls for the future. Thanks again for the freebies.
