if the flight conditions and launch from your driver are at least close to what you want as an ideal then go with the similar spec shaft if you want similar attributes from your fairway metal.

I would ask the pros at your club for their opinion and I'm sure it will be easy to order any set up you like through your club

Around the globe Sunday, four players relying on a Titleist golf ball were victorious on three continents, proving once again that performance is the Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x.

In Portugal, Titleist Brand Ambassador Peter Uihlein won the Madeira Islands Open with a final round 4-under par 68 to earn his first career European Tour title. In the U.S., Titleist Brand Ambassador Mark Anderson and his tournament record-breaking 27-under 259 total captured the BMW Charity Pro-Am on the Web.Com Tour. The third player in the winner's circle, Titleist Brand Ambassador Matthew Griffin posted a 54-hole total of 13-under par 203 to win the weather-shortened SK Telecom Open on the OneAsia Tour in Korea. And in Mexico, Titleist Brand Ambassador Jorge Fernández-Valdés became the youngest winner in the history of PGA TOUR Latinoamérica with an 11-under par 277 victory total at the Mundo Maya Open.

With four more wins, Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x loyalists have now won 58 tournaments on the worldwide professional tours in 2013, nearly four times the nearest competitor with 15 and more than all other competitors combined.

EUROPEAN: Madeira Islands Open

Winner: Titleist Brand Ambassador Peter Uihlein

Uihlein, the 23-year-old American, relied on his Pro V1x golf ball to tally four consecutive birdies on the back nine to vault him to the top of the leaderboard, two shots clear of fellow Titleist Brand Ambassadors and Pro V1x loyalists Morten Orum Madsen and Mark Tullo, who tied for second place. The victory grants Uihlein a European Tour exemption through 2014 and marks the first time an American has won the Madeira Islands Open.

“I’m just thrilled,” said Uihlein in an interview. “To do it playing well on the back nine, coming down the stretch, is sweet. I know Morten played a heck of a round and Mark played really well so it was nice to come out on top."

Of the 156-player field, 116 relied upon a Titleist golf ball, more than five times the nearest competitor with 21 and more than all other competitors combined.

The final round fireworks began at the the 201-yard par 3 fourth hole where Uihlein's birdie was bested by Tullo's ace. The lead would change hands a few times before Uihlein's string of four birdies culminated on the 14th hole, leaving him atop the leaderboard. A late charge from Madsen wasn't enough and Uihlein hoisted his first trophy.

Leading by two shots at the start of the final round on Sunday, the 20 years, 9 months and 13 days-old Fernandez-Valdes shot a 1-over par 73 for an 11-under par 277 total for the week. With the win, the young Argentine climbed from eighth to second in the Order of Merit on the PGA TOUR Latinoamérica.

Titleist golf ball loyalists accounted for 103 of the 131-player field, more than six times the nearest competitor with 16 and more than all other competitors combined.

Are you allowed to get help with your physics homework?

Anyway, my answer would be that ball speed, resulting in distance, results from the impact velocity, not acceleration, so the distance would be more or less the same. But I think the question describes an impossible situation. What mysterious force in the universe causes an instantaneous acceleration on impact in the second scenario? The deceleration at impact is plausible.

It's a busy week for the Titleist Tour Support Team this week as the European Tour is staging two events. A host of talent has travelled to Portugal's beautiful island of Madeira for this year's Madeira Island Open.

The cliff-top links of Porto Santo Golf Club, designed by the great Seve Ballesteros, again welcomes the players for the event. Because Madeira is so remote, it's logistically impossible to get the Titleist Tour Support Vehicle (TTSV) on site for the tournament. Instead, product has to be shipped from Titleist's European HQ well in advance to ensure that our Team is supplied with plenty of product to address any player need that may be encountered.

Despite the gloomy weather that we've seen thus far, it hasn't prevented some stellar play. Pro V1x loyalist Lloyd Saltman equalled his best round ever as a professional, firing an 8-under 64 to take a four-shot lead after the opening round.

This morning, Scotland's Craig Lee (Pro V1x) followed up an opening round 67 with a 4-under 68, taking a one-shot lead over his fellow compatriot as Saltman awaits the start of his second round. Titleist Brand Ambassador Thomas Levet rounds out the top-3 at the time of this posting, currently at 7-under.

I bought two 913H clubs yesterday, a 24 and a 27. The intention was to set the 24 to 23.25 and the 27 to 28.5.

However, on both clubs the adjustment screw appeared to be stiff. I managed to change the 27, but the screw will not re-tighten on the 24. I don't want to force tightening it and ruining the adapter, so I'm currently left with a club I can't use.

My son has a 910 F & H, both of which we have adjusted with absolutely no problem.

What would you suggest is the isuue and how can it be resolved - particularly as I now have a week off and really need to have the clubs as I'm playing competitions...

Exactly what Neal said, great company, great day and a great course, just achieved a hole in one with the ball i was fitted for as well! Great start to using the prov1x, also had a fitting at golf live with titleist so will be buying the new 913 driver.

I am going down to Kings Acre National Fitting centre on the 14th of May for a fitting and I was wondering if the 712 U driving iron will be available for fitting that day? I see it is being released the day after, however I am enquiring if it will be available before?

I am quite keen to try a couple out to replace my hybrid 2 iron I use now.
