Okay - At this point we are half way through the Sunday Matches. The fight for the cup is far from over, but I just could not help myself and had to do shout out to the TT members. Have you ever in your life seen such a birdie fest ???? I have been glued to the television watching shot after shot and putt after putt. I simply cannot understand these guys hitting 240 yard 4 irons, 300 yard 3 woods, and draining putt after putt from ridiculous places. Okay - during the course of a tour round we do get to see a few great puts, but this has been simply unbelievable !!!! The sad thing is that tomorrow I will be heading out to the course and reality will step up and show me how the game is really played :) Hope everyone is enjoying the matches. Regardless of who wins, it is shaping up to be a phenomenal Ryder Cup battle. Darius

Now it is over... Although I am sure the U.S. team is still partying :)

In my opinion, two matches in particular will go down in history as extremely memorable. The match between Patrick Reed and Rory kept me on the edge of my seat for the longest time. The crescendo was the 8th hole with those two unbelievable birdies ! The other match that I am sure you will all agree was worthy of a place in history was the one between Phil and Sergio. An unbelievable 19 birdies between them. Back to back to back. It was only right that this one came out as a draw for neither one truly deserved to lose !
Congrats to the U.S. team, and hopefully the European Team can make a comeback in two years time.
I did go out today and play. Although I had a great round relative to my handicap, it was nothing compared to what I witnessed over the weekend. I got to the range, and was immediately brought back to reality when my 7 iron only went 160 yards. A far cry from what I watched on the weekend for sure :)
