    Hi,

I have been getting fitted for clubs for over 12 years,I have tryed ever launch monitor, trackman out there, but find it is better going to your local golf pro and hit the balls at the golf course.

I just finished my 3rd Club fitting at Drumpellier Golf Club with Head Pro Ian Talyor.Ian was also a referee at the Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor

.I have decided to go for 3 wood 913 Diamana 72 stiff 15 degree and Hybrid 913 82 stiff 19 degree all upright and 2 layers of tape on my grip.Hope they arrive asap.

I also ordered 60 degree lob wedge with the gold spinner shaft!!!

I also bought Scotty Cameron California Monterey 1.5, 33 inches long.

I tried the Driver, and still not sure, going to try again at the weekend with other shafts.

Please let me know thoughts on the Driver,

    Regards

    Hi Robert,

I'll leave Team Titleist members to provide thoughts on the 913D2 & D3 - my views might be a bit biased!

Couldn't agree with you more about the need to see your pro and let them watch you hit shots - if you read the profile on Anders Mankert, a Titleist SureFit partner, on the Team Titleist blog, he underlines the need to use launch monitors in conjunction with analysing the flight of the golf ball, rather than as a substitute.

Great to hear that you have enjoyed the fittings with Ian - I know he is a great pro! Ask him if he remembers the photoshoot at the PGA Club Pros at the Belfry two years ago (especially the shots out of the bunker back towards the Academy)!

Best regards to you and Ian,
