I'm thinking about changing from a png G20 3 wood with the TFC 169F Tour to a 15° 913 FD fairway wood, which shaft would give me similar characteristics, Love the shaft in the png and ideally would like a shaft that feels the same in the 913. The Torque is 2.9° and weighs in at 74g. Can anyone recommend something that would feel comparable?
Hi Matt, Firstly, sorry for taking a little while to get back to you. We are making some exciting changes to our Team Titleist blog, and this has caused a few delays in being able to reply to everyone. In regards to your question, I would strongly suggest that you get yourself to an Authorised Titleist Fitting Account. There are thousands of shafts on the market these days and each will perform differently with every manufacturer. Trialling and getting fitted for your new fairway wood will make sure it's fitted best for your game. Please keep us updated and let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.
Thanks for getting back to me. I was recently custom fit for my 913d2 and I've not been happy with the outcome. So this time round I was hoping to go somewhere, pick a shaft I knew was pretty close to some I like to play and can play, hit a few and take it from there. Having not been happy with my last custom fit, it kind of put me off the process.
