    Hi Team Titleist,

As our peak golfing season is over and we are now layering up to tackle the elements for winter golf.

To help reminisce over the summer sun and idyllic golfing days I am asking you to tell me your biggest golfing achievements for 2016. We would really love to hear how our Titleist clubs and golf balls have performed for you. Please share your stories below,

I'm looking forward to hearing them!

    Cheers,

    Hannah

    Kirkcaldy,

Managed to get cut from 10 to 7 in first season at new club after changing my irons to AP2's and 915 driver. Also made the winter league team for the first time

5 years out of the game and returned to play approx 13 months ago! Changed my bag over the past year and am now officially ALL titleist and loving it! final piece's in the jigsaw was my 917D3 and Newport M2 I just purchased this month!

This year I've got back to a decent level but most importantly won our local 'Father & Son' knockout Trophy that me and my dad have been trying to win for 20 years! - He won it with his Father in 1996 and we've been trying ever since!

Made my dad a very happy man and hopefully my grandpa who's looking down on us very happy!!

    Thank Titleist! #TeamTitleist

I changed to the AP1 exactly a year ago. Coupled with the 915 which has been the most consistent driver I've ever had i have dropped from 13 to 9 this year.

I've managed to get down to 3.6 this year using my Titleist clubs, hopefully the new 917s in my bag will help lower it again next season.
    Merry Christmas everyone

  9. Having switched clubs at the begining of 2016 to titleist AP2 716 irons I have had 2 holes in one this year ! the first was in March at desert springs golf club in Spain on the 17th which they sent me a certificate which I have framed the second was at wollaton park golf club Nottingham on the 8th which they gave me my card back to save and frame and also a bottle of whiskey ! I have since purchased titleist hybrids and also the new 917 d2 driver to complete my titleist bag

Managed to get down from 12.7 to 9.9 and am still awaiting for the ESR which will hopefully get me to the elusive single figures. Absolutely loving the new 917 hardware and am now proud to say that i'm TT through the bag. The season ended too quickly for me but can't wait for next season now.
  11. Hi Hannah,
At the grand old age of 47 I finally got down to a 2 handicap after switching from Pro V1x to Pro V1. I achieved this with a full bag of Titleist of course, it's been that way for 20 years.

Yesterday was the final qualifying round for my group of 16 and I closed out the annual trophy with a gross 1 under to hold off the challengers with an average net stableford score for the year of 34.7 (best 15 rounds).
The group modifies handicaps according to results and for most rounds I've been off scratch at best.

I don't want the season to stop but looking forward to next season and being fitted for a 917, maybe also upgrading to 716 AP2's.
Also requested Scotty's latest limited edition Mil-Spec from my Pro, fingers crossed...

To top it all off I had the best golf day ever, courtesy of Team Titleist and BMW, at Royal Birkdale.

Best wishes for to everyone for 2017.
  12. First time, this year, that I've ever been fitted for clubs. AP1's, 915D2, 915F, 816H1, SM6 50/56/60 and M2 Select Newport.
Joined my first club in April and won the high handicapper competition. Name on the honors board - twice in four months, actually (won another competition)
Gone from an occasional and struggling 28 handicap to a golf bug-bitten 21 handicap in 8 months. Looking forward to bringing that down a good few shots next year, too.
Titleist all the way. Can't match the quality and kudos that you get with Titleist. Bags, balls, far too many hats. Only Titleist for me (although, to much ribbing on the course - all the gear and no Idea etc,.) :)

  13. Changed earlier in the year (May) to AP2 716 and now at my lowest handicap (7.9) will also go back to my old 913 driver as been struggling with M2! First time for a few years been to the driving range in the winter - happy golfing TT members

Watching my then 7 year old son's first straight 145 yard drive and steady improvement through the summer. Wish I'd had the opportunity of lessons and a good pro at such a young age !

    Hi TT,

Achieved a major goal in 2016 by winning a monthly medal.
Now for a major major in 2017.

    Happy New Year Everybody
