I have finally got a tracking number. The clubs will arrive at my house on Friday (by end of day)

I ordered though TGW so that i could save on paying local tax. Seems like I paid a premium for that bad decision.

I was fitted for a new set of AP1 irons, a 910 driver , and a 910F fairway metal from a local golf store last friday, and I was told that I can pick them up tomorrow. ( following Thursday ). The clubs were shipped from Titleist yesterday. Since these clubs are not discounted, it makes more sense to me to find a local dealer or pro shop to get a quicker turnaround . I am really looking forward to getting to the course to try these out.

i ORDERED A SCOTTY CAMERON PUTTER THROUGH THE TOUR STOP AND THEY HAD TITLEIST SHIP IT RIGHT TO MY HOUSE....SOMETHING IS WRON G THERE.....

New update. The clubs are shipping from TGW later today. The clubs shipped from Titleist on the 12. The problem is that they ship to TGW before they come to me. In my opinion, that stinks. Why have that extra leg of shipping?!?!

Place order---TGW notifies Titleist---Titleist builds clubs ----Titliest ships to TGW----TGW takes their sweet time ---- TGW ships to me

In my opinion, TGW should have Titleist ship directly to the customer. (((yes...I am inpatient)))

In case someone is interested in this custom order timeline, Titleist concierge told me that the irons were shipping today.

TGW order was placed on June 4th. Thats 7 business days. Not too bad

I ordered a set of 712 AP2's and 910 F from TGW earlier this spring and had them within 2 weeks. They say the "4-6 weeks" in case the club maker is out of a component for you clubs. Also, their customer service is very good. A real person answers the phone right away and is helpful. Good luck with the clubs.

Congrats on the new sticks. I currently have AP2 710's so I am jealous. I have ordered clubs in the past from TGW and have found no issues. They may not come as soon as ordering from your pro shop, but typically come sooner than they predict. I believe they give you a date that will be met if there are issues, otherwise you should receive them sooner. IMO.

Although TGW may have changed its policies, my last experience was that -- unlike some vendors that arrange for custom orders to be sent directly from the mfg to the customer -- TGW first wants to receive the custom club, process it, and then ship out the package to the customer, thus resulting in delays.
