Hello fellow members of #teamtitleist! I am a 3 handicapper and I currently have 714 AP2's, some of the best irons I have ever had. However, I have hit several balls with the 714 CB's and I really like the way they look, feel, and the results they have. Who has these irons and how do you like them? Also, how is the forgiveness and ball flight, are they pretty easy to work the ball with?

    Thanks!

    Hi Ryan,

I love the CB line. Ideally I should probably play the AP2's for the extra launch, but the feel and look of the CB's is so much better in my opinion. My custom order for the 714's came in last Friday and I was able try them out this last Sunday. I got the XP95 shafts to get the extra launch and spin I was looking for.

Work-ability wise, I am a firm believer that you can shape GI irons and MB's the same, so long as you hit the center. But, I was able to shape them up, around, and below trees all day if you really need to know. (it was really windy that day...)

As for forgiveness, I have no experience with that yet, sorry...

I'm in the process of buying either a set of AP2's or a set of CB's. Personally? I think aesthetically, the CB's are a nicer looking club. It's hard to improve on the 'less is more' look of these clubs. Other club manufacturers have tried, but they just don't have the same timeless look. I really like the CB.

  4. I am a 10HDCP and I play the CB's. I absolutely love them. I thought they would be too much club for me but my iron play has improved a lot. I came from png and the difference is amazing. png forgings feel like rocks next to these if I can only get all my drives on line, id be ok :)

I have these in 7-4 that i sometimes swap in an out of my gamers. I really like them, they feel lighter and less taxing than my MBs. They're a bit bigger which gives me alittle more confidence on the really long courses. My next set I'm thinking of going CBs from 5-PW and use AP2s for the 3 and 4
