    Hey guys...Need some input.

I just went and demoed the 915s today. Looking to upgrade from my 910D2.

Current set-up: 910D2 9.5 with a Diamana Whiteboard 72. Usually get quite a bit of spin and my usual miss is a hook/pull draw. Spin at the demo was 3200+. Launch around 9*-11*. Swing speed is around 98-104.

I demoed the 915D2 in a 10.5* with an Aldila Tour Green XS. We worked with the Tour Green because of my pull miss, hoping that the lighter shaft may help. Spin was about 2600-2800. Launch was around 16*. Saw noticable increase in carry and total distance over the 910. Dispersion was more center focused that the 910 as well.

I also demoed the same 915D2 and Aldila in 9.5*. Spin was clearly lower than the 10.5*, down to 2200-2400. Launch was slightly lower as well around 12*-14*. Dispersion was pretty tight, with the same flight and distances, except everything was slightly left.

I am kind of torn because the launch and lower spin in the 9.5* are what I am after, but it also looked like the 10.5 was more consistently straight. (9.5 was very consistent, just a little to the left)

My question is if anyone has any thoughts on moving from the 910D2 9.5 to the 915 in a 10.5? Is it possible the 10.5 is a better fit even with the higher spin and launch? Just can't wrap my head around that. I do like the Tour Green shaft, just try to figure out the 9.5 or 10.5.

    Thanks for your input.

The 9.5 can adjust to 10.25 and the 10.5 can adjust to 9.75. While swapping heads, did you move off of A1? They will feel different even with just 0.25 loft differences.

No, I did not move off of A-1. To be completely honest, I have never really experimented much with the adjustments and have just kept it on A-1 and worked on me path to adjust the shot shape.

I'd say launching at 16* and spinning at 2700 is too high! I'd prefer you in the 915 9.5 and experiment with the C1, B1, or D1 setting. Those settings are flatter and/or slightly more open face. I'd recommend trying the Diamana S+ Blue 60 as well. RC
