My first hole in one, playing with my Dad, my daughter, and, my best friend. Can't get much better than that group! Far better than shooting a 69, on a regulation course, on my first round after getting out of the Army. I don't recall much about that round, but I can remember everything about my first ace.
  4. Great score young man, I am just back from the USA ,played some great golf courses.

How about my first round with my son--age 11 at the time. Lauderdale Lakes Country Club, on a Friday. Sunshine and good times!
  6. My favorite golf memory actually comes from a scramble but hear me out though it's an awesome story. Every year on Father's Day, my dad and I play play in a two man scramble that our golf league puts together. The rule is that if you have a son in the league you get to play with them and there happens to be another father son duo in the league as well, my cousin and uncle. My cousin and uncle regularly would mop up the field and we always play with them every year. So year after year of losing to them and finding ourselves down by 2 with four holes to play, my father drains one of the bigger benders I've seen to pull one back. The next hole we par and they bogey and just like that it's all square with two holes to go. Number 17 is a 302 yard par 4 that my cousin and I regularly drive, yet on this particular day both teams only managed to par the easiest birdy hole on the course. So it's All square going into 18, and my cousin and I proceeded to blast two very good drives, mine just a bit further than his. My cousin and uncle hit their best shot from about 50 yards to about 15 feet, respectable and had a good look at a birdy. now it was our turn, about 45 yards give or take and my dad did not dissapoint, sticking one in there to about 5 feet. Now it was my turn and i picked the perfect time for my 5th career eagle draining my wedge to win the match. Essentially the equivalent of a walk off homerun!!!! Hands down the best golf memory of my life. If you ever get the chance to play a two man scramble with either your dad or son, please do so. The thrills of competing with my dad against others is truly amazing and the memories are truly priceless.

Mine was a few years back, the first time I decided to try to qualify for my State Amateur Championship. Little nervous and went out in 41, but came in at 35. Put me in a 10 way playoff for 2 spots. I was just shy of 35, and noticed it was all "kids" I was up against, and with a full head of grey I looked even older. After 3 holes they kept dropping off not making pars. Not to date myself but I hit a 1 iron off the next tee, a dogleg into a freshly filled sand divot in the middle of the fairway. I could hear the kids that were left muttering "he's out of it". Stayed down and through, knocked it up to 3 feet, made the putt and I was in. My knees banging together the whole time probably sounded like a mating call to every woodpecker within 5 miles around. Pre ProV1 days, a brand new Titleist Professional got me through.

Every summer, my dad and two of my best friends play in a scramble at a 9 hole course. It's the only 6 hour round of golf that a guy actually cherishes. About 5 years ago, we arrived late to a course that was only 8 holes due to severe flood damage. We started on a 200 yd par 3 and opened with a bogey. The next 15 holes (keep in mind it was now a 16 hole course), we shot -18 and won by a shot. It wasn't the win I'll remember, but the fun we had that day. After that first hole, we went off. We donated our winnings back to the course for their flood relief. This event isn't about the money or winning, it's spending the day with my great friends and dad. All of us playing our absolute best sure helped, too. The 4 Scotty Camerons were on fire that day!

My favorite memory was shooting a 64 (-6 under) at Pecan Valley (River) in Fort Worth when I was a sophomore in high school - it was truly magical and have never come closer than 3 shots to that round. Holed two bunker shots for birdie and had a number of other nice putts. Golf seemed so easy that day.

My best memory came just last month when I shot my age.........I actually shot one better when I had a "68"!!!!! I didn't think this would happen for at least another few years but I got on a role and I rode it home. I have shot in the 60's before but it was years ago but my game is coming back after a layoff after back surgery.
  12. My titleist moment was winning my club championship in first flight at Wachusett County Club in West Boylston Ma a Donald Ross course I went 78 77 to win by 1 stroke over some very good golfers
  13. My favourite memory was in the 2015 club championship, on the Friday they had the horse race which I decided not to play in instead I went up to the practice green to work on my short game. As one group of guys came past me one of the guys said I was wasting my time it won't help. I was playing to a 8 handicap, after day one I shot my best round 71 even par and I had a three shot lead. Went in for a beer and I just had to go up to that guy and said I guess it did help. On the second day playing in the last group which I thought I would never be in, I ended up shooting 7over I lost by 3 shots but did win the senior division by 7shots.

Two parts: '88 US Open and '99 Ryder Cup. Inside the ropes as a marshal. Walked w/players during practice rounds, worked 4th tee and green, and for the '88 playoff between Faldo and Strange I cleared paths ahead of them from greens to next tees. Nicest guy in '88 - Seve. In '99 O'Meara.

    Great stories!

While I have not had anything better than an even par on a course, My fav memory is a 1 over 73 at a course I've never seen before at about 138 slope & 73.4 rating.
And a 78 at another course I've never seen before similar slope/ratings.

G'day fellow TT members, this note comes from the land Down Under. Well, I'm yet to have a hole in one. I've shot in the 60's, but my favourite golfing moment has to be getting to play with Adam Scott during one of his charity days. We played from dawn until dusk, 100 holes in total. The best part was sitting down with him afterwards for a chat over a BBQ dinner. He's such a great guy!

Been playing this wonderful game since 1961 when my dad took me out for a 9 hole round. My favorite experience is still from 1988 when I caddied for my club pro in the Buick Open in Flint MI. However, who knows what's down the next fairway!
  19. I had the chance to play the Ocean Course at Kiawah last summer, which was pretty incredible. But the best golf memory I have was not a hole in one, but a double eagle. I holed out from about 190 after a drive a little over 300yds. Craziest part of all of it was that one of the guys I was playing with carded an ace on the 3rd! A double eagle and an ace on the same scorecard!!! It was a round to remember for sure!
