    Hi Team Titleist!

Rick Veitch and I are traveling to the PGA Show next Thursday to bring you exclusive content from the floor. We'll be meeting with Titleist golf ball and golf club staff, along with Bob Vokey, Aaron Dill and Scotty Cameron

Here's the cool part. This is YOUR opportunity to send us questions to ask them! We'll be picking a few of your questions to ask each Titleist staff member, as well as asking a few of our own.

So send us your questions, and we'll see you at the PGA Show!

    All the best,
    Abby

I have a question for Scotty:

Are there any plans to offer custom services when purchasing a putter, as opposed to purchasing one then sending it to the custom shop for personalization?

For example, being able to go to an authorized Titleist retailer/partner/fitter and be able to spec it out right there for a custom order and COA?

I know I would completely take advantage of it and am sure many other Scotty fans would too.
  3. good question. Would be interested in this as well

    Hi Abby:

I have a questions for all of the above Titleist staff members:

Throughout your experience with custom fittings, what was your most memorable "Ah ha!" moment with a golfer, where their perceptions, mindset, thought process, or self-actualization was brought to a different level during the process? How would you think that golfers could better reach these moments (lessons, reading, fittings, practicing, etc.)?

No harm in (still) asking. My local heated driving range went to NXT-S in yellow. So much easier to follow even with our continual winter cloud cover in Madison. 2nd question - could the Cameron putters offer a limited LH run of at least most of the putters. If I could ask the shop to have a rep bring by certain models to demo that aren't part of the standard release, I would likely own more than one. It really pains me that some styles are only available in LH from png or Odyssey.

Abby, can you ask the ball guru's if there is any truth to "the seam on the ball is the strongest part on the ball" ? If they say yes ask them how to find the seam.

What is the best way to get a new Scotty Cameron putter customized by the Cameron shop?

Can we get Titleist golf balls in a soccer style pattern - with options for colors?

Will Vokey make any more of those fine scorecard holder / yardage book covers?

    Hi Abby,

    I have a couple of questions ...

My question for Bob and Aaron is do they have plans to produce forged wedges for the US and EU market? I'm aware they have cold forged wedges in the Japan market but as far as I know the SM6 is a cast club.

And my question for Scotty is would he ever think about starting to have face inserts in some of his putters?

Enjoy the PGA show! Wish I could have went but I'm stuck in the UK

Now, that would be an interesting concept. You and Rick have fun. Suggest to Scotty that maybe he have a contest one year to design the membership head cover. Did not join this year, again, it is just too busy and camo??????? Also ask him why he does not have FJ apparel in his offerings. Love to see him also support Titleist accessories line.
  13. How much difference would tour players see wit's new pro v1s vs the first gen if we talk numbers? Distance and spin?
  14. why is it called a V1?

Is the new putter going to have a center shafted model. Seems like center shafted putters are not being produced like they used to ? Any reason why ?

I would appreciate if you could ask when 2017 golf bags are going to be released. I have seem some quotes about "early this year" but no date. Thanks!
  17. Bob, what trends do you see in terms of grinds in wedges, and do you see any further conforming issues with wedges or is that something which is no longer an Issue? From an amateur golfer's perspective, how often would you recommend we replace our wedges?

    Hello,

I live in Madison Wisconsin and play in different seasons. Should I change from the pro v1 when the collier/cold weather hits?

Scott Cameron question: When will you have carbon putters?
  20. I play Titleist golf balls, but only Velocity....why...because I like double numbers and I don't believe you use double numbers on any others. Also, have you considered Velocity balls in yellow? Or others in yellow.

Every spring I purchase 4-5 dozen pro v1x's when they have the buy 3 get one free special for customizing. Last year I ordered every ball with the number 25 which is my old baseball number.

We have to play in the cold for a few months. Playing the PRO V1 is okay but do we have to change to a low compression ball for the cold weather? It seems the ball loses some distance during the cold spells. Do you make cold weather balls? thanks

I always associate the Titleist Pro V1 as a ball for the really top of the list golf pro. I am just a weekend golfer with a 20 handicap on a fine course. What benefit , if any, would a guy with my ability get from such a fine , professional ball?

    Abby,

Thanks for giving us Titleist fans an opportunity to ask questions to the movers and shakers in the golf equipment industry. I have been a huge fan of Titleist for quite a few years now for many reasons. One big reason is that I support Titleist's seemingly adoptation of a 2 year cycle product development cycle for your irons and woods clubs. It is one reason I will never buy any other manufacturer who obsoletes my golf club purchases as soon as I walk out the door with my new set of clubs. My question is do you forsee Titleist ever changing this 2 year product cycle for its golf clubs to anything shorter than this?

    Thank You,

    Derrick
  25. When you say that a putter or wedge has a new and improved "feel", how do you go about measuring that? Is it simply "sound"?
