Just wondering about Team Titleist Members, after a long winter of no golf, how soon do you post scores? Do people post right off, first round? Or, do you use a couple of rounds to get back into the swing of things?

The reason I ask is, I played yesterday and was really rusty. Not my usual game......

More fairways and greens, birdies forever!

I post right away because the high ten get dropped anyway. Plus what usual happens to us from the colder regions is we start the year with a lower handicap (left over from the good months last season) that we can't play to when the new season begins. So if my handicap goes up a shot then it is more realistic to how I probably will play in the spring anyway.

I've posted when ground conditions are decent. If I have to use a trowel to lift, clean, and place, that is too close to winter conditions to count. Or if I have to use waders in bunkers until they dry out. We've had good conditions most of this month - not normal. We can only post 4/1 through 10/31.

I have started posting already. I only have one round down, but it is posted. Like what has been said from john might as well get an accurate representation which includes those rusty swings in the beginning of the season.
  5. Where are you all posting your scores at?
  6. We can't start posting until 4/1 in my area. Usually by that time I have a few rounds in and course conditions are better.
  7. I post every round played in the handicap season, which starts here on Mar 15 of each year.

We play most all year here. Post every round for a true handicap. Had some low 80's early in the year and a couple of rounds in the 60's lately. Golf is tricky that way. Always play it down and outt em ut.
