What do you enjoy most about your role as a Titleist Product Specialist? The thing I enjoy most about being a titleist product specialist is enabling consumers to understand the fitting process and giving them the confidence that the clubs they have been fitted for are bespoke to suit their needs.

What’s the biggest performance gain you’ve seen during a fitting? Fitting a PGA pro in to a SM7 58 degree D grind. The PGA Pro did not have confidence to normally use this club for chipping after trailing some grind options for the new SM7 wedges we were able to find him a grind that gave him instant confidence in the D grind, this was a game changing moment for the PGA pro.

What’s your favourite part of the bag to fit a consumer for? My favourite club to fit a consumer for is wedges as it is a club that is used almost every round for amateurs and pros. I like to educate the consumer on the importance getting fitted for there wedges and also visually seeing and hearing the difference in contact once they have been fitted in to the correct grinds and bounce.

What was the first Titleist club you fit a consumer for? The first club I fitted was the SM7 wedges.

What’s your golf story? How did you first get in to golf? I started playing golf after watching the Masters in 2005, I was amazed buy how picturesque Augusta was and some of the shots hit by the pros. I then went to my local par 3 course with my Grandad and was instantly hooked.

What’s your favourite course to play? My favourite golf course to play is Royal Birkdale. It has so much history and the golf course is fair but testing at the same time. It has a special feel to it.
What’s your favourite Titleist memory? My favourite titleist memory is Adam Scott winning the masters, it was so good to see him finally cross the line and win a major as he is an amazing talent.

If you weren’t a Titleist Product Specialist, what would you be doing? If I was not a product specialist I would more than likely being working in a golf shop specialising in fittings.

Pro V1 or Pro V1xI play the Pro V1x as I struggle to get enough height on the ball and the Pro V1x enables me to launch the ball higher which gives me more stopping power on the greens.

Do you prefer to play in rain or wind?
I would prefer to play in the wind as I love to hit a low stinger 3-wood off the tee and see how low I can keep it.

Parkland or Links golf? I prefer links golf due to the ever changing weather conditions throughout your round and also the variety of shots you have to be able to play, it makes the game more interesting.

Drive for Show or Putt for Dough? and explain
Well I can’t hit big bombing drives so I would say putt for dough as I would like to think of myself as a pretty decent putter!!
