Maiden Euro Tour Win for Suri in Denmark

"This is the reason why you get up early every morning to practice, go to the gym and get prepared to succeed.”

These were the words of Titleist golf ball loyalist Julian Suri (Pro V1x), who claimed his first title on the European Tour at the Made in Denmark.

The American fired a flawless 7-under-par 64 final round en route to a 19-under-par 265 victory total to secure his first victory in just his seventh European Tour event.

"To have seven birdies and be bogey-free in the final round was really solid," Suri said. "There was no wind and with all the rain last night there were going to be a lot of birdies. I have an aggressive mentality so I feel like that played right into my hands."

Suri, who finished four shots clear of his nearest competitor, also won the D+D REAL Czech Challenge in May, becoming the third American to win on both the European Tour and Challenge Tour.

He joins Titleist Brand Ambassador Peter Uihlein (Pro V1x) and the reigning U.S. Open champion as the other two to achieve that feat.

"I feel like my game belongs at the top of the game. This is definitely something I've worked for and kind of expected for a long time. But to finally come out and do it, especially after the string of good finishes this summer, is really special.”

The 26-year old began the day two shots behind overnight leader.

Congratulations, Julian!
