The Omega European Masters has been held at the stunning Crans-sur-Sierre since 1972.  It is thought to be one of the most beautiful backdrops on The European Tour schedule. The legendary course offers unforgettable views up to the Pleine Morte Glacier.

The course plays at 6848 yards and is known to require precision and a complete game. The greens are quite small and several of them have run-offs which make them hard to hit, a good challenge for the Tour Professionals this week.

The 1st days play was ground to a halt due to fog delaying tee times. However, when play eventually resumed the good scores were coming in quick! On the first round Golf Ball Loyalist Tyrrell Hatton stormed out the blocks carding six birdies through 9 holes, a phenomenal score out of 29, finishing with a 65 (-5).  Golf Ball Loyalist Jazz Janewattananond also had an impressive start to the 2015 Omega European Masters with a score of 65 (-5), carding 6 birdies, 3 bogies and 1 eagle.

Titleist by numbers: The Omega European Masters

At this week's European Tour event, Titleist is the overwhelming golf ball of choice with 104 players in the field trusting Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf balls for their success out of a total field of 156 people. Therefore, 67% of the field teed up a Titleist at The Omega European Masters.

Stay tuned next week for an update on how Team Titleist players got on.
