I am switching from SM4 52/8 and 56/11 to SM7s. What grind would be the closest match on the SM7 to match the standard SM4 grind? Thanks!

Find a titleist thursday in your area and get fitted.. I'm doing that this week, looking forward to finally hitting the SM7...

I had a SM4 with what looked like an M grind but was never sure, so I got fitted with a S Grind on my SM6's. Best to get fitted as the grind will help you around the green & in the sand based upon your swing, if you're a shallow or digger & the paying conditions you endure on the course. Tight lies, soft conditions, firm conditions. Here in Kansas we had medium to firm conditions most of the time & I have a shallow swing so "S" fits me best

Thanks guys, I’ll definitely hit them if I can. Was just wondering if there was one grind that was equivalent to an “off the shelf” grind in the past?

Assuming nothing was altered or special made, your SM4 56.11 is an M grind. The 52.08 is a full which I believe is now an F grind. Obviously getting fit is the best option. But if you're in a situation like me where that would involve an hour and a half drive on a Thursday after work, this should be a good start.
