  2. Hi John! I wore the pro-sl through the summer and they were lovely! Very comfy shoe from the moment I started wearing them. I have just bought some of the new DNA Helix wore those on Saturday and got too admit they were the best golf shoe I have worn for comfort!!

was it the Pro Sl or the DNA Helix that were the most comfortable?

I've got both and they are both great Shoes. I've had problems with FJ sizing over the years as different 'lasts' fit differently. I have both in Size 11 and they are fine. SL's are very lightweight, the DJ's are heavier in comparison but don't feel like lead boots when wearing.

Both are good to wear straight from the box, no wearing in at all. I have quite a few pairs of FJ's knocking around, my view with the two above are that the SL will be my summer shoe and the DryJoy will be my winter shoe.

Like Ross I've got the Helix and while they fix very nice and are light and comfortable, I do tend to feel one of the cleats through the sole in the toe area. This is the same with the original DNA's I have, I would say its more how my toes sit into the shoe.

The pro sl are the most comfortable golf shoes I've ever owned and the grip is awesome , even when it's wet

Footjoy Pro SLs are a great shoe, very comfortable, not difficult to wear in although from experience I'd never wear a new pair of shoes over 18 holes, I tend to wear them on the range and for the odd nine holes before, having said that I could probably have done so with these.
I'm not sure they are good for wet conditions, I wear mine more as a summer shoe and wear a Icons when the ground is wetter.
Sizing seems to be the same as most of the FJ range.

    Lethbridge,

John, I have the Pro SL's. I have a big foot and a wide foot and these shoes are like walking on air. The first time I put them on the felt great and the comfort was amazing. The fit was perfect for my foot and provided me with stability that I was looking for.
  8. Hi John, I have both and they're equally as good but for different situations. Pro SL's are great for summer when it's warm and the ground is dry. Dryjoys are perfect for winter and very wet conditions. I've wore mine for 36 hole comps in pouring rain and my feet were completely dry at the end.

I struggled a little bit with Pro SL for comfort and it took perhaps 3 rounds for them to break in.

Like Ross I also have the new DNA Helix and for me they are the most comfortable and stable shoe in the current range.

As Tom says although Footjoy uses the same size last for all the shoes they do come out slightly different depending on the shape of the shoe. So it's definitely worth trying on everything and having a good walk around. Also try and compare different widths rather than jump straight in to mediums.
