  1. After quite a few months with my home club closed, I have decided against joining full time again for this season, as paying for five months without playing doesn't help, I have joined back but on a points system they have, therefore we (my only playing partner I have found in two years :) )have decided to play a few other course here in Devon. What do you guys recommend for a non handicapper (must get my handicap this season so I can get a County card), have played Bovey Castle (best course we have been on), Dartmouth (Championship)(Nobody told us we needed a buggy, we were knackered after the 18), Bovey Golf, Wrangaton and Exeter. Booked in with Dawlish Warren and Elfordleigh. Got a golf society hopefully booked in (still feel that I'm not good enough) but 2018 is THE year. Looking forward to popping back regularly and seeing the topics. Any clubs around South Devon a must play, I'll put them on our list.

    Man thanks.

Will be down that way in a couple of weeks and had posted similar asking for any recommendations.

For most it's accessibility and cost that are the main factors in choosing where to play. I've been a member of Golfshake.com for many years and have used the recommendations on their website as a good guide of course, cost and conditions at the time of year I'm playing.

Just checked there are 58 with reviews on their site.

    Enjoy !!
