  1. I recently went to a fitting day and they suggested AP2 irons over the CB irons. At this stage I didn't know about the C16 irons, but I like the look of them. I currently have 822 irons from around 2002, I spent a lot of time overseas and didn't play much for around 15 years before playing a lot more earlier this year. I regained my handicap in April, which was 20, and I've just gone back overseas. Before I left my handicap was down to 14. I have a pretty good swing, it's the 40+ putts a round killing me. I'm going to buy a new set of irons later this year but was wondeing if I should commit to the C16's before they sell out or see if they become a regular club next year as a 718? I also recently boughty a T-MB 2 iron, which is great. I use it off the tee for the short par 4's on the course I play at.

Take a look at the 718 line. I've heard that the AP3 incorporates technology from the C16s. Not sure if that's true or not.
  3. I bought the C16 irons and love them. But you may want to take a look at the new 718s when they come out before dropping the money that the C16s require. I saw the pictures of the 718s that were released today and appear to see some similarities between the new line and the C16s. Won't know though until more information is released from Titleist.
  4. Hi Matthew, Micheal,

Thanks for the comments. I did notice the new AP3's in the photo released of the 718's and they do look a lot like the C16 irons, just with a bit extra width on the sole. I'm overseas for work so I may as well wait until thhe 718's arrive and test them.

I tried the C16 irons and LOVED them, just didn't have the cash.. But i have to agree the AP3s almost look similar to the C16s.. Hopefully Titleist will release more details in the days to come about the new line... I am really digging the AP3 at the moment...
