Does Titleist Still Offer 1 Free Loft/Lie Adjustment?

  1. Hey guys and gals!

Does Titleist still offer original owners of an iron set 1 free lie and loft adjustment?

Also if they do offer the 1 time adjustment, is it possible to pay for a 2nd adjustment at a later date if needed? I only ask because I live a very small town. We do have a Dicks Sporting Goods, but I'm not confident that the high school kids, that works part time in the golf department can do it right, and not possibly crack the hosel, or mess up my Steelfiber shafts..... So I'd be happy to send them back to Titleist, have their professional builders or whoever check and adjust them if needed. Paying for the peace of mind of having it done "right" is well worth it in my opinion.

    Does anyone know for sure?

Hi Ryan, As long as you are the original owner of the irons, we will reset your loft and lies to the original specs one time within the first year of ownership at no cost. You can always have it set up for us to do after that first year, but there will be a charge.

Hey that's the first I've heard of that, that's pretty cool.
  4. Cathi,

Thanks so much for your response. It's great to hear that 1st check is free (within the 1st year), but still being charged after that is extremely reassuring. Like I said I'm scared these guys might crack the hosel (seen it happen before).

So who should I contact about sending my 718 AP2's in, and roughly what's the turn around time? I'd like to send them in as soon as possible before our season starts here.

Thanks so much for help and quick response!!

Hi Ryan We don't have any direct orders, so contact your local pro shop and have them call the Warranty/Repair department to get that set up for you. Once we have received them, it should take about 4 days. Allow 1-2 weeks if you are on the West Coast and 2-3 if you are on the East Coast as shipping to the East coast is 2 weeks (back and forth) by ground.

Do you need your certificate of proof
because when I purchased a set of AP1 714’s I was given a a proper A4 certificate stating what settings they were set to
    When I purchased my AP2 716’s last March I didn’t get anything
  7. Hey Cathi,

If I wanted to have the lofts strengthened 1° but keep the lie 2° flat is that possible?

    For your information
I contacted my local pro about this he contacted Acushnet at St Ives
Cambridgeshire. They didn't know so they contacted Team Titleist, they said that this facility is only available in the states not in the UK.
It's a bit annoying that certain facilities are only available in the states and nowhere else.
