I think I've been doing the countdown for about 2 months already!! My favorite week of the year. I'm SO excited to see Steve Stricker on the list of Invitees for 2017 (for his 2016 finish at the British Open). It gives me hope for a Major for him!

The list of invitees is already a great one, but there are still some chances for players to make the field. I'll have to go through the list to see who needs to get a win or move up the OWGR to make it.

But it's worth it to visit masters.com just to hear the theme music. One month and counting!

I'd talk masters every day! It's never too early. Be sure to download the app on your phone. Search for the masters and you should find it.

For those who are lucky enough to get tickets it is a great time of the year. I use to go just about every year for the practice rounds and then they started the lottery. Was able to go to a few more practice rounds with the lottery, which really are my favorite times to go. Have been fortunate to have gone on the weekends and this is Mecca for us who adore this wonderful game. It's only up the road about three hours from where I live and loved the drive to Augusta and the walk around the course and the taste of those wonderful pimento cheese sandwiches. Glad I have had the experience and now in my prime I can sit back and enjoy the rounds on my 55" and think about all the many years I have enjoyed at the Masters. If I happen to snap another ticket. So be it. One thing I do not miss, speeding tickets going thru Bamberg, SC. For those of you who are going, enjoy. Last time we were there in 2008. Cheers......

The Masters is the greatest time of the year! Never to early to think about that glorious tournament. This year I am especially excited about it because I won the lottery! I will be going on Wednesday and can't wait. It's been the longest build up this year knowing that I'll actually be there for the first time. Hope some you are lucky enough to get to go as well.

I think I've been in the lottery for 9 or 10 years now and no luck...I kept thinking THIS is going to be the year to go!! When I realized Stricker could be in the field this year I looked a little online to go, but it's crazy on the market. I'm going to keep trying!!!
I was fortunate enough to go to Wed/Fri/Sun of the Ryder Cup this year, so I'm going to need a little time to save up again. :) DANG that Merchandise Tent!!

James H- great idea to go for your 50th - I might have to make that a goal!
Chuck Z - love the photos!! I friend of mine went in 2011 and the best gift I got was a water bottle filled with Rae's Creek. :)

So if you had to pick a winner right now, who would it be?

With the recent improvements in Rory's putting I am expecting him to feature. DJ will be up there I think and I would like to see Justin Thomas do well.

I have been in the lottery since it began. Always very disappointed when I read "We regret to inform you, that you have not been selected." It is by far my favorite tournament. So much history at Augusta. I am still hoping one day to be selected.
As far as a winner... would love to see Jordan bounce back from last year and get another jacket. Steve Stricker, would also be amazing.

    Chuck Z, great pictures, thanks!

I agree, it is never too soon to talk about The Masters. I was lucky enough to attend a practice round last year and it is the most beautiful place on earth! I can only hope I will have the opportunity to go again.

Love talking about the Masters. I record the whole event and watch it all day long. I could never even dream about seeing the place. I wish I could but I know it will never happen. But I do love watching it on TV.
  15. It's defiantly not too early to talk Masters. It's the best time of the year. A tradition unlike any other. I am excited to see Justin Thomas and I am looking forwad for him to capture his first Major.

    It's almost here!!!
I don't know about you, but I like to go to Masters.com just to hear the theme music. I also like to read through how each player qualified for an invite.

While I watch as much as I can for the whole week, Masters Sunday is "me day". I always watch the final round alone...I just love taking it all in. I'll have it on TV and also watch it on Masters.com, especially if some of my favorite players might not be at the top of the leader board.

My traditions include: making Masters French Toast with Strawberries, making Masters Mini-blueberry muffins, and of course snacks, Masters Doritos, Masters Diet Coke w/Lime (which is hard to find!), Masters mini Reece's Peanut Butter Cups. :)

My favorite part is feeling compelled to give standing ovations in my living room for great shots and for the winner.

It's my favorite week of the year!!!
