After a mere 10 days off, the PGA Tour starts it new season on Thursday. I'm totally opposed to the wrap around season money grab, but the first tournament is in my hometown, so I have to support that. I miss the days of a several mont break with some fun events sprinkled in like the Skins Game.

I understand but it does give some rookies and web.com starts that they wouldn't get.

Is there something wrong with too much golf? LOL

One can never have to much golf to watch! I love it and it helps give exposure to some possible newcomers.

Good to see some lesser known players get a shot, but personally I wrap up any golf watching pretty much with the PGA except in the Ryder Cup years.

For this guy the season ends after the Ryder/President's cup and begins in Kapalua. I'm not opposed to the wrap around season, but I don't really follow it.
