  1. I was wondering what are your favourite courses to play in Ontario? I'm not from Ontario originally and am currently a McMaster student golfer. I've played these golf courses so far: - King's Forest - Chedoke (Beddoe) - BraeBen - Willow Valley

Would love to have the opportunity to play some private courses but those chances are pretty slim :/

Welcome Preston... We are really fortunate that there are so many absolutely wonderful tracks one can play in Ontario. In just about every section of the Province you can find a variety of golf courses that each in their own way provide a special experience. I live in Barrie and have played all sorts of courses from Port Elgin to Niagara across to Kingston up to Ottawa, the Muskokas and many places in between. I am currently a member at Vespra Hills Golf Club on the outskirts of Barrie and play most of my rounds there. We have a great variety in 27 holes to test ones skills. Reach out if you are going to be in the area and you can join me as a guest. Back to your question - Do I have a favourite course in Ontario ? I have to say I have way to many to list :)
  3. Hey Darius, thanks for the invite! I'll definitely reach out if I'm around your area and it looks to be a really cool track. I've also seen that Wooden Sticks seems to be a pretty nice course as well and I'd like to play that at some point.

You will find that Wooden Sticks is a great experience. The green fees include a meal and VIP treatment from the time you arrive. I played there many many many years ago and am currently planning a trip there with my regular foursome for this summer. You may also want to try out Osprey Valley one day. They have three courses there and all three are a real treat. If you book early enough during the summer, you can often get in a round on two different courses in the same day :)

Since you are around the Hamilton area, you could try Burlington Springs, Hidden Lake (2 courses, also a location for Titleist Fitting Days hint hint).
  6. I second Osprey Valley. All three courses there are a treat to play. Try Crosswinds near Burlington as well. We’ve played it a few times and it’s a beautiful course.
