Since I have a $200 gift certificate at GG, I would like to buy it there. In the past, I was fit there for a 910D2, but was not convinced with their suggestion for me to use a Diamana ahina 70 stiff

Re: Shaft Options

Hi Doug, We have one of three regional fitting centers about 60 miles from you in Scarborough, NY10510 at Sleepy Hollow CC. The fitter there is Kevin Sprecher and he will be able to help you make the right selection for your 915 driver if you wanted to make the drive - his number is: 305-498-9480. Other fitters that we have closer to you would include Scott or Chris at Stony Hill Custom Clubs in Brookfirld, CT - 203.778.2777 or Chris Cotes Golf Shop in Portland, CT- 860 342 2226

Re: Shaft Options

Doug, I would also check out the Diamana Whiteboard shaft as well. The Diamana white also comes in a 50 and it is what I put in my 915D2 and am EXTREMELY happy with it.

Re: Shaft Options

Being LH, it was even worse for me at GG. They only had a 9.5 in S+ stiff LH in stock, and magically it was the best for me. My swing speed was 85-88. I have since replaced the shaft with a R flex Blue (915 stock shaft)- the Red was giving me too much spin, and set the loft to 11 degrees. All 3 shafts are worth checking out. One option is to pay someone 50-75 for a fitting and special order at GG. Cheaper than trying to replace the shaft later. My recommendation is to reload on balls with the certificate and buy the club from an outdoor fitter.
