Also, I was properly fit at a Titleist National Fitting center. But my swing changes over time so I like to check my numbers on Trackman in the off season. I have two drivers which can be adjusted so I like to take the time to make sure I start the season with the driver set to provide me the best results at the start of the season.

I don't think lowering the CG increases spin. I have seen this info pretty consistently across the internet, which doesn't necessarily mean it is true.

CG Forward (toward the face) will lower launch and spin, and generally make the club play a bit less forgiving.
CG Back (away from the face) will increase launch and spin, and generally make the club play more forgiving.
CG High (toward the top of the club head) will cause the ball to launch lower and spin more.
CG Low (toward the bottom of the club head) will cause the ball to launch higher and spin less.

It hit a draw. I hit it with less curve with the lower lofted head in most cases but there were 2 sessions were the lower loft had a more closed face and spin was still higher.

To correct your last statement, lowering the CG generally increases spin.

To get to the larger point. What are your sidespin and face angle numbers like? When change the loft of the driver, you are also changing face angle, simply by the way the adapter is designed. So, when you decrease the loft, the face will slightly open. That could potentially increase sidespin (specifically if you hit a cut) and increase overall spin. A better test would be to get 9 and 10 degree heads in the same model and test them against one another in same setting.

This is why it's critical to get the correctly lofted head and get fit into the correct settings at the time of the fitting. Tinkering after the fact certainly changes the way a club performs, and may not end up in an optimal result.
