I tried one in February for the first time on the back nine at Kiva Dunes in Alabama. A friend of mine gave me one. I usually play with the ProV1x, I think the Velocity is a harder ball. I didn&#39;t think it played as well around the greens, read, less spin, it felt harder coming off the putter (Scotty Cameron), but as an 8 to 12 handicap I am prone to mis-hits and can&#39;t blame everything on the ball. I bought a dozen 2 months ago and still have 2 sleeves but am going back to the Prov!x, for me it&#39;s a better fit. I find it easier to work the ball with my draw. The velocity tends to fly straighter and I leave it out to the right more, read, I don&#39;t have a great swing.
