They Actually did it in Canada but not in the us (you can not ship from canada to the us)

I was going to post along these same lines but saw this so I thought I'd add to the thread.
He hit it on the button as far as pros on tour (and many others) getting both free equipment along with free golf balls. It appears that the average golfer is now subsidizing the tour players by paying full freight on Titleist products along with paying for all the great advertising and promotion that Titleist has.

Don't get me wrong, I love the products and pay the prices BUT throwing us consumers that very small bone with the loyalty ball promotion just felt right.

PS. Certainly trying other balls....Snell, etc but none have grabbed me yet.

I am still sticking with Titleist, the ball promotion is great, but they still make the best golf balls, why pick second best?

Definitely going to try a different ball this season. Covid is 3 years old and all supply chains have basically caught up. That excuse is BS when the offer is available in Canada.

What's most disappointing about this to me is the fact that Titleist provides the Tours with just an unfathomable amount of golf balls for free, and the paying customer is who ends up getting screwed here. I fully understand why Tour Pro's get these advantages, they earned it and deserve it. But I still have a bad taste in my mouth from last year when I was fitted for a set of T100s irons and it took over 14 weeks to receive the clubs, and now they have halted the loyalty rewarded program. I'll always hold Titleist to a higher standard than most (if not all) other manufacturers; Their quality is 2nd to none. That said, I moved off Titleist drivers as their price points only come down when the technology is outdated and combined with everything else I mentioned, I'll probably phase out the Pro v1 golf ball as well. Loyalty rewarded is great program, and now that loyalty seems blind in many areas.

It would be interesting to see stats on the % of population that plays golf now in US vs. Canada vs. Australia and how much that % has changed in each country from pre-covid days. I suspect that has something to do with other countries getting the 4 for 3.

I did not get to play as much last year as I wanted to so fortunately I am stocked up on Prov1x's for 2022. And when I run out I will purchase more Prov1x's, whether there is a 4 for 3 or not.

I am a Titleist loyalist and one year without the bundle 4*3 promotion will not make me step away from the brand; especially my current ProV1s. I've been tempted by other brands (irons, drivers), but I will never change my golf ball brand. I guess I'll have to lose fewer balls this year or simply opt for buying a dozen ProV1s later this year.

Titleist, while making all their balls, took heat for adding some stock from Thailand on the west coast last year. Presumably Australia is supplied by Thailand. Canada is a much smaller market.
Titleist is loyal to dealers as well as golfers. I’d be happy to get 1 box of amber Pro-V1x. Since last year’s deal, I haven’t seen any on the shelf at the pro shops I frequent.

I already did go else were. I took advantage of srxn z-star ball promotion. They are also great balls.

I also find it hard to believe other countries like Canada and Australia don’t have a product shortage, but in the USA we do.

Seems like a 4 for 4 promotion in the US may create a shortage for the remainder of the year. Shelves are half stocked at my local golf shop and it's been that way for a while. I think this is a smart business move by Titleist in a challenging environment.

If the 4 for 3 is the only reason you play Titleist balls then changing to another ball should not be a big deal for you. Why not play Noodles for $1 /ball?

I agree with you it can be upsetting, but hopefully not enough to turn you away from playing Titleist. I've stayed loyal to the ProV1 family, and used this opportunity to buy the ProV1 Left Dash to try out this spring to see how I like it. I've heard great reviews, and am excited to try it out. Maybe if the loyalty program returns, I will order these instead.

The pro shops are already on a monthly allocation instead of their usual quarterly order. The 4-4-3 could deplete the allocation leaving less inventory to sell on demand. Some of us may resort to buying Brand S/C/T/B, but walk-in traffic would have no choice.
For me, I still have a choice for 1 dozen at a time locally or buy some through MyTitleist. It would not be a good Vice for me to swap brands to pay $48 for other major brands instead of $50 for Titleist. And just for spite. .

For me the issue I have with the decision is that some countries are still getting the deal while others are not. I would have no issue if it was abandoned for all.

I don't see a problem in not having the buy 3 get 1 Loyalty program this year. It hasn't changed my ball of choice for lower scores. It hasn't changed the quality of golf ball golfers across the United states will be teeing up in 2022. It appears to be a business decision based on keeping their golf balls in the hands of golfers throughout the year.

I fully support it & in 2023 I'll buy my ball of choice (Pro V1) as I have done several times. I do hope it will include the Pro V1 Left Dot as I would like to try them out.

In Australia, ProV1s come from Plant 4 in Thailand. This may be why we have had no supply chain issues. I do not know about Canada.

I bought 8 dozen last year through my local golf course pro shop in Madison IL by St Louis. I wanted to buy from my pro shop again this year.

Australia has the deal as mentioned however the demand is much lower than US...they may be working off their supply locally in Melbourne at main warehouse. Just speculation...

I heard the exact same story from my professional here in the UK, if Titleist have supply issues, I can't see how they can give 25% of their production away in a loyalty program, maybe they'll reinstate it when supply is back to normal?

Its interesting to note that other golf ball manufacturers are able to offer the 4 for 3 offer now.
