You would just order it through your authorized Titleist retailer. They can contact our Customer Service and place an order for that shaft.

Hi Gareth, I spoke to the UK and they will do their best to help you out - I will IM you with the contact information. Please be aware that you do have to be committed to getting that shaft as it might take weeks to receive it. The caveat on getting an "off menu" shaft is that we ask that you do not cancel or make any changes to your order once you have placed it.

We have ordered the VC 8.2 TS X flex so you should b able to order it as an "off menu" item. Please keep in mind that you cannot make any changes or cancel the order once it has been placed.

Please keep in mind that these off menu shafts cannot be cancelled once they are placed. Off menu shafts are not shafts that we have part numbers for - we offer them as a service to the player that cannot find a shaft on our custom matrix. Once the order has been placed, we cannot cancel our individual shaft order with these shaft vendors.

I talk to TGW today and they said they were waiting for a reply from titleist. but i am also thinking of just cancelling the order and just waiting and pre-ordering the 913 line. when is the release date? when can i pre-order? and will custom orders ship same as release date items. I might cancell threw TGW and order threw my local golf club.

are you able to order the VC 8.2 tour spec in the 910 fairway line? I ask this because i just orders a 910 13.5 with the 7Z08 x-stiff shaft and i was contacted by TGW and they said you no longer have it. they then asked if i would like a diffrent shaft. I asked for the Speeder 8.2 VC tour spec X-stiff. they should be contacting titleist to find out if it is possible. I just figured i would go ahead and ask on the forum my self.

Feel is very subjective. In terms of specs, the RIP (alpha) will keep your spin/ launch down and is offered in an 80g weight, but the torque is a little lower. This is the same for the Proforce V2. Keep in mind that torque will have an effect on the feel, again being subjective.

That's really annoying because I really like my tour spec 6.2 in my driver but I need a 80 gr shaft for my woods

What shaft would come close to the 8.2 tour spec flight/ feel ?

We can order the Speeder 8.2 in an XS. The launch and spin will be similar to the 6.2, but the overall shaft weight will be 85-87g depending upon what model you choose (standard version or Tour Spec). We do offer other 80+ gram shafts that have slightly higher launch characteristics then the Speeder VC 8.2. The Diamana Ahina 80 and Diamana D+ White 82 will both launch slightly higher then the Speeder.

I am wanting an 80+ gram shaft to pair with the Speeder 6.2 Tour Spec that I have been fit into, is there another Fujikura shaft available in an x-flex that would be an appropriate match? I was thinking an 8.1 or 8.2 for a little higher launch.
