Since then every set of 718 AP1s I&amp;#39;ve came across use AMT Red. Since I&amp;#39;ve been questioned a few times (and do not have an answer why). I went through 8 shafts during my fitting and some were similar but a few really made a difference. I ended up with the KBS Tour 90 and when people asked me why I chose them, I just tell them I&#39;m not an &quot;off the shelf&quot; golfer. More purchasers of AP1 need more help launching hence the boxed set/base shaft is red. Getting fit made sure the best combination for you included the white - a lower launching shaft.<div style="clear:both;"></div>
