Not official, but the Japanese version T400 doesn’t appear to be coming soon. With T400’s and 620 MB/CB over 2 years since released, there may be an interesting release cycle this fall. Wondering if they will give the new release a more distinguished name than the 2021 version that is the same as the 2019 version.

At your prior skill level, the T400 head may not appeal to your eye. If you can still make center face contact, the T200 or T300 may be a better look. Whichever head you end up with, the shaft selection will be key to your new setup.

I had the T400. The lofts and head size didn’t transition well to Vokey wedges. I went to the T300 with the stock T400 shaft. I didn’t lose distance and find them easier to hit, especially from overgrown rough.

The T400 does make it easier to hit especially for fat shots. Good luck in getting as much back as you can.

I've been playing the T400 since shortly after their release. At the time I bought them I was having real issues with back and neck. Bad enough that I was considering quitting. They had the lightweight Fubuki graphite in R flex. My previous sets were Titleist C16 and 718 AP1 with Nippon Pro Modus 105 steel shafts. The T400 were much lighter, easier to flex, and, the weight difference made a huge difference late in a round. Even though they are very strong loft I found they launched easier and higher than either of my previous sets. The soles are wide, but, I don't find it to be an issue even on firm turf. They've been good enough that I am committed to upgrading when the next generation is released.

I currently play miz 919 Hot Metals with a stiff Recoil 95 shaft. I had shoulder surgery in November, and am really struggling. I had a lesson last week, and Trackman showed I have lost a lot of swing speed and distance. I have an appointment for an iron fitting at a Titleist fitting event at my club. I was a three handicap prior to the surgery, and the teacher said I should look at the T-200s, but I’m thinking I might need a club that offers more help. Just am wanting to get some feedback from some folks that are using the 400s. Thanks.

I've now seen some decent photos of the new T400, specifically the sole. It appears the sole has the same design as the current model, and, if thinner not by much. These are Japan models which I assume will be the same or very similar to what we see released in the U.S.

I, too am anxiously awaiting the next generation T400 release. My guess is sometime in the Spring, but, I have no inside information to back that up. I've seen sellers in Japan listing the new version on ebay. The photos aren't good enough for me to tell if the sole widths have been reduced. Personally, I would welcome that.
