I recently purchased a GT3 driver and have some concerns.
The serial number is in a weird spot and it makes
a very hollow sound when you hit it.
I took it to two pro shops and they couldn’t find anything wrong with it apart from the

RE: Gt3 driver. The serial is 7 digits and down the vertical part near the hosel.

You don't have a weight in the slider? If so that will completely change the sound.

RE: Gt3 driver. If you put on contact tape, does the sound change when hit on center?
If you can get a measured smash factor off of an on center strike and you can get close to 1.5, then the head should be ok. If not, maybe the seal between the face and body is weakened. Pure guess.

You didn’t imply you bought this new from an authorized dealer. Internet sales for both used and new clubs not from an authorized dealer are rife with counterfeits. When the price is too good to be true, it probably isn’t. Just off of pictures to help identify a counterfeit is pure speculation. The counterfeits are getting harder to spot.
