4 way or 14 way bag?

I had the 14 way because I thought it would be nice to have them all in their own spots... didn't like how hard it was to get them in/out and I use regular grips... they seem to bind on the bottom... so I went back to the four way divider.

I have a couple of Players 4 plus bags and do not have an issue with the mid-size grips on my clubs.

Weight is the main reason people choose a 4-way or 14-way style golf bag if they do not carry their clubs. I cannot imagine carrying a 14-way stand bag, that would be too heavy. I prefer 3 or 4-way cuffs for stand or cart bags.

I have 2 cart bags from Titleist that are 14 way before I bought the Linksmaster. Now that I have a 3 way I don't think I could go back to a 14 way. Now just put it in the nig slot and go. No more trying to get it in the one specific spot. I used to hate the club chatter but now it's no big deal plus I walk more now than I did before. I also use midsize grips on my irons and had no issues with the cart bag, but I have never had a hybrid.

I suggest taking an iron with you to a golf retail store and see how it fits before you make your final decision.

I have both a StaDry players 4 plus as well as a hybrid 14. I obviously use the 4 in bad weather conditions, going to the practice range and quick 9’s after work. I also like it in the summer months when I dont really need to pack much. It’s a bit lighter. I use the hybrid 14 when using my push cart or riding in a cart. The hybrid 14 has more storage space and I like it more in the colder temperatures so I can pack more gear/layers of cloths. As far as grips issue, I use the mcc +4 grips. I find that they can get stuck equally in both bags.

Side note- I do miss the days of a fully enclosed, zippered cooler pocket for drinks.

I have both and the only thing that would stand out is the weight. Other than that, they are both great bags.

That's why they make so many different models, everyone has their reasons for picking their favorite. The only think I would remind someone about the 14-way bags is that some oversized grips fit pretty tightly into the individual holders so watch for that. Other than that, enjoy whichever fits your own personal style and preferences.
