I have been playing golf for almost 30 years and been close plenty of times to a hole in one. I was playing 9 holes with my 10 year old son, who is in his second year of lessons. We lost his Grandpa three months prior, he was an avid golfer from Scotland and we bonded through the the game of golf. As I played my stroke, I said to my son “That’s all over it!” and he called at the ball “Go in!” Two bounces and a roll and the ball dropped. I picked my son up and span him around, and at that moment we both thought of how he Grandpa would have loved that moment.
