I’ll never forget my first hole-in-one. It happened on a cold Saturday morning in February during the Dogfight at Bent Brook. I was playing with a good friend, and we stepped onto Windmill #5 not knowing we were about to witness something special.

I hit my tee shot and watched it land about 7 feet past the hole and slightly to the right. At first, it looked like it did not have chance to be close to going in, but the ball had a little cut spin on it. We stood there watching as it slowly checked up, started drifting back toward the pin, and then disappeared. Truly a once in a lifetime experience.
