I had a solid start to my round as we began on the back 9. Walking up to the tee I joked about playing smart or letting it rip. One of our playing partners said to let it fly. A par 4 323 yard dog leg left with the corner clear to cut across. I could not have drawn up a better shot. Started at the left side of the green and leaked just past the center of the green. We saw the ball land on the green and take a bounce left towards the pin. I was in a cart with my Dad and was watching his shot not seeing the other carts approach shots. As I walked up to the green I saw a ball just in the rough and assumed it was mine. When I got to it, I noticed it wasn't mine. I looked around and didn't see another ball in the area. I thought there is no way. So I walked slowly to the hole and peaked in to see my Titleist Pro-V1 with my red #21 marking. My first hole-in-one and its on a par 4!! To top it off, my father, the man who got me into the game was by my side to witness the whole thing.

First tournament with my 13 year old some was a high school fundraiser for his school football team and he witnessed me hit my first hole in one. Plenty of friends who witnessed it made it a great experience. Love Titleist!

First hole-in-one!

Recorded my first hole in one on June 11th, 2026 on the South course at Rolling Acres golf course in Beaver Falls, PA. Was a usual league night, luckily it had stormed just before we were set to tee off so we were still able to play. Was second to tee off on the 4th hole which is the only par 3 on that 9. The hole was playing a little over 150 slightly uphill and I took a 9 iron directly at the pin. We saw the ball land near the hole and after a few moments it disappeared from view! I sprinted up the hillside to get a different angle and when I knew it was in we took off towards the green! My buddy proceeded to hit his shot after we went back to the tee box to about a foot after telling everyone he was going to hole it to cancel out my skin! Got my skin and my first hole in one, onto the next…hopefully!

My Hole-in-One Story – Quarry 3, Joondalup 13th of September 2025

I went into the round feeling confident. My previous round was a 48 on the Quarry 9 at Joondalup, which for a beginner golfer is a solid score, so I felt like my game was finally trending the right way.

That confidence didn’t last long.

I’d just bought a set of brand new Wilson irons, and for whatever reason, I could not hit them to save my life. Absolute shanks, fats, thins — the lot. Nothing felt right.

To make things even funnier, I wasn’t even using a fresh premium ball. I was playing a Titleist that had literally been run over by my robotic lawn mower at home. Bit scuffed, battle scars everywhere… somehow that became the ball.

Then we got to Hole 3 on the Quarry at Joondalup Resort Golf Course in Perth, Australia

117 metres. Strong howling wind. Straight over the quarry.

I grabbed a 7 iron, thinking, Just clear the bloody quarry and I’ll take that. No hero shot. Just survive.

I flushed it.

The wind grabbed it immediately and lifted it higher than expected. Brett and I watched it land on the green… one bounce… then it started rolling.

Straight at the pin.

And then…

Gone.

It dropped.

Hole in one.

Brett and I just lost .

As if the story needed any more weirdness, the cart boy came around the corner right then, saw the chaos, heard what happened, and handed Brett and me a free beer on the spot. Couldn’t have timed it better.

And the funniest part?

After making a hole in one — the dream shot every golfer wants — I somehow went on to shoot the worst 9 holes of my life: 63.

So now I can officially say:

I’ve had a hole in one… and still shot 63 for 9 holes.

Golf makes absolutely no sense.

Rustic Canyon on a perfect day. Hole 17. 144 yards with a Pro V1 and a Titleist T150 9 iron. Bounced a touch short of the pin and ran in. Saw it the whole way!

Using my moms clubs with women’s shafts when I am used to stiff, hit the ball bounced and rolled right in on an island green, all done while traveling for a baseball tournament.

I Was All Alone!

I was filing with my 18 year old son. He had to leave after the first 9 holes. We were at Fox Hollow Golf Course in MN. I was going to leave after 9 but decided to stay. I got to 15, a par three with a green and an elevated tee box. 105 yards playing like 94. I tee’d off and the ball drifted slightly to the right in the wind. Bounced once about two feet from the pin. Rolled and disappeared! Bitter sweet not having my so. With me to celebrate. The grounds crew did see it go in though!

I had just purchased some black T100s and went to Fields ferry and on hole 12 195yards I hit a 5 iron using a prov1 #17 with a clover and indeed was good luck. 3 months later I hit my second hole in one at Dalton golf and country club #9 129yards using a 9 iron which I felt come off the bottom groove. I didn’t think it was a good shot until it one hopped into the hole.

I hit my first hole in one last Friday at Vestavia Country Club in Birmingham, Alabama. It happened on hole 13 , a 210 yd par 3 . The pin was slightly elevated in the lower left hand corner of the green. I hit a ProV1x with my T150 6 iron to the front lip of the green and it rolled right in. A moment I’ll remember forever !

Got my first Ace! Lasered at 134 yards, back pin on tricky green. Hit with Vokey SM9 50 degree wedge. Landed 10 feet left and trickled in. Always thought I would react differently but was in complete shock. Annual golf round with family. Father in law, Brother in law and nephew(just getting into golf). A day I will soon not forget!

October 12th, 2025. Playing Eagle Bend Golf Course in Lawrence, Kansas on a windy day with my golf bro and some random single. We got to the 4th hole and the wind was whipping left to right at about 22mph. I told the guys i was going to try and let the wind push me back towards the pin and hit it to the left side about 4 yards off the green and hope the slope ofnthe green would help it roll towards the front pin. With the pin towards the front of the green i figured i had enough club to the 153 yard pin location. Using my AP2 - 8 iron i hit the ball on the line i wanted but the wind did almost nothing to the ball and i landed on the hill to the left of the green. It instantly jumped towards the hole and what seemed like forever and my lack of long distance vision the guys got excited to which i asked did that go in or stop in line behind the pin? I probably was a little underwhelmed that my shot didnt do what i was thinking and thus i didnt react like someone just got their first hole in one. We drove up to thenhole and sure enough it was in there. The other hilarious thing was me and my golf bro left our phones in the car by accident and we had to have the random single take the picture for us. I used one of my custom number "23" titleist pro v1 ball to achieve the feat. Glad. I can mark that off my to do list!

I took my 7 iron for a standard shot. I hit it a bit chunky and a bit off the toe to the left and the ball hit the fringe about 3 feet from the green. It took a couple of bounces, started to roll along the slope to the right, and went in the cup! I was 50/50 standing on the tee box whether it went in, but driving up to the green, there was no doubt it went in
