I’ve just treated myself to a grooveit brush after seeing a few people post about it on this thread, do most people just fill it with water or add a drop of dish soap in?

Also, when I got my old mizunos, they came with a little bottle of ‘club oil’ does anyone use anything similar on their t-series? I’ve heard of people using putter butter, but it’s not available over here in the UK

I use soak my clubs in the kitchen sink with warm water. Using a dash of dish soap and a toothbrush I clean the grooves and the backside of the clubs, and dry them immediately with a towel after every game or practice. My T200 (2019) look pretty darn good this many years later.

I love the ritual and traditions of golf.

Wipe them down as needed when on course, soap and water after every round, sand paper on grips a couple of times a year.

Warm water, a soft brush, and a towel in the garage after a round. Wipe the grips down once in a while and call it good.

Barry is absolutely correct...avoid soaking your irons in a bucket of water. Those ferrules often soften with heat and then contract weakening the epoxy bond. The seeping water can also begin the corrosion process on steel shafts at the hosel which may break at that location sending your iron head well down range!

Just got my new Irons T-150 for Christmas. I only use wet towel and tee to clean the groves. I don't used anything else because to protect the face of the iron and etc.

Any thoughts on that? Also looking for soft iron covers to protect my irons

I try to clean my clubs after every shot with a wet towel. I try to make sure the grooves are clean of all dirt, grit, sand, and etc. About once a month I will use some warm to hot water with about an ounce of car wash to clean them. I use a brush to scrub the grooves and the sole of the club. The clubs are rinsed in warm water, then towel dried. After that, sometimes I will wipe them with a towel with WD-40, Armor All, or car wax.

Here is what I do:

On-course: Wet towel, Grooveit Mini - quick and easy - clean after every shot
After each round: Clean grooves, shaft, grip with water and toothbrush for the grooves
Every few weeks I clean my grips with mild soap and water - I like the tackiness

As annoying as they are, head covers for your irons keep them pristine and have been a life saver to keeping my T150/200's mark free (for the most part)

After every round, spray faces with Fantastik, nylon brush to clean, another spray to clear the dirt. Wipe clean to dry. Been doing that for a decade. Never an issue and they look great.

During rounds a bit of soap and water on a golf towels, clean clubs and groves between shots, then thorough cleaning after the round. If you take care of your clubs, they will pay it forward! Clubs are an investment, treat them like it......

I have a club scrubber on my cart, so I clean them after every shot. The Geko grip cleaner is also great for cleaning my grips. I only received my irons a couple weeks ago, so I'll have to clean them thoroughly after a few more rounds. Light soap and warm water usually does the trick.

T-Series Iron Care (AMT Silver steel shafts)

Routine: Rinse the face, wipe debris, then use a plastic brush with a little water to clear the grooves. Dry the head, ferrule, and shaft the same day after every session. On-course, I’ll wipe after a shot with my hand or a StaDry Performance Towel; for stubborn debris, a plastic tee works. Grips: lightly damp towel, then dry with a clean towel.

I avoid: wire brushes, groove “regroovers,” soaking in buckets/containers, and harsh cleaners/soaps.

Goal: Gentle cleaning, keep moisture out of the hosel/shaft junction, and prevent oxidation on steel for long-term durability.

Any T-Series-specific tips I’m missing?

Borrowed a page from my car detailing hobby that seems to work pretty well.....quick towel wipe after each shot on the course, but after I get home I give each club head a spray with Optimum No Rinse "Rinseless wash," scrub with a plastic bristle brush or old toothbrush, and wipe down with a microfiber towel. Probably not any better or worse than using soap 'n water, but gets the clubs super clean really fast and they're ready to go!

warm water, liquid dish soap. I have a plastic bristle brush from Sharper Imagine it's rechargeable and fits nicely in my bag.

On course, I just wipe off with a towel until I get home.

I ose a little dawn and warm water. Tooth brush and a dusting towel. I replace my grips every March and clean with dawn and a toel in between. I also polish the heads one a moth=nth with chrome polish.

Wash/clean all clubs well after each round especially irons, with a soft bristle brush and soapy water. Dry thoroughly. Also, every other round lightly wipe down grips. Once a month apply light metal wax to irons. Like the look of clean clubs, helps with resale as well.
