Was there this past May....You gotta play Reflection Bay first, then TPC Las Vegas. Catch them on Golf Now for discount on early tee times.

We travel every year to Vegas. My favourite course is Coyote Springs is a must play.

South of the airport;

Revere 2 courses Lexington & Concord. My home courses. Love em.

Chimera, formerly Tuscany

Rhodes Ranch

Rio Secco , closed for remodeling right now should be open by the time you hit town.

Desert Willow, executive course but tough and always in GREAT shape.
All these are 20-25minutes from strip.

Boulder Creek in Boulder City
Primm Valley in California
Both 45 minutes from strip.

North side:
Paiute has 3 courses. About 30 minutes from strip.

TPC Las Vegas
Angel Park
Red Rock Arroyo
Siena
Bears Best
Desert Pines
Royal Links.
All within 20-30 minutes of strip.
Could list more but these are a good start.

My suggestion would be to travel to Mesquite and play Wolf Creek. Beautiful course and a great challenge.

I live in vegas over seeding such be done by then angel park has two 18 holes courses a par three putting course and great practice area nice restaurant and pro shop reasonable prices you can contact them on their web site.ck vegas website for others but if price is a issue great prices here

Paiute Golf Resort is 20 minutes from the strip, and they have 3 of the best links in Las Vegas.

I'll be there that weekend too.
Unfortunately, it's a tough time of the year because so many courses are closed for overseeding.
Coyote Springs is a good option that weekend. No overseeding. Free re-rounds. About an hour out of Vegas though.
Paiute has 3 courses. One will be closed. One will be two weeks out from punching the greens but the 3rd will be fine.
Rio Secco and Reflection Bay are both closed that weekend which is a bummer.
Arroyo is decent. Angel Park is too but I'm not sure their maintenance schedule.
We're taking a day to drive out to Primm Valley for 36. I've heard mixed reviews and one side will be cart path only due to overseeding.
