&lt;p&gt;The Performance Guide and Instruction manual is one in the same thing - but to make sure you have the correct document, I have emailed a copy to you this morning.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If this is a new driver, my first inclination would be to return the club to your retailer. However, the process is relatively straight forward and as follows:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
&lt;li&gt;To replace the screw, drop the rubber washer (make sure it is not twisted inside out) inside the hosel, i.e. as you would look down on the head at address&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Then, offer the screw with recessed part of washer against the head of the screw up through the head&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Looking down through the hosel, match up the rubber washer over the tip of the screw&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Use a tool (an empty bic pen works well) and push the rubber washer over the thread of the screw and retain the screw in the head&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As I mentioned, if you are not confident in doing this, please return the driver to your retailer.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When you have selected a setting, you are correct that the required letter and number should be aligned to the silver / white dot on the clubhead.&lt;/p&gt;
