    Hi all

So with us in Semi Lockdown in the UK, and the courses closed, has anyone looked on line or already got a home practice set up?

I have seen some amazing purchased set ups on line, but these are virtually out of stock for delivery everywhere. (Some of us are just quicker than others I guess)

But I have also seen some ingenious DIY "works of art" of home set ups.

Just thought, as I am personally feeling, that I need to get this sorted. mine would need to be in the garden, but upload your home practice range/area etc for us all to get envious of, or basically to steal your ideas for our own!!!

Indoors or out door step up, it doesn't matter.

    Thanks and stay safe

    Ian

Ps if DIY any instructions advise would be great as I'm sure there is only so much Gardening, Painting, Pressure Washing and other DIY things we want to be doing.

So I have taken the plunge and before we shut the office down for home working I managed to get 6 x 7ft 25mm steel conduit lengths plus 6 90 degree threaded returns.

Now have to figure out how to connect without threads the ends and create a frame. Managed to find a net from a supplier on the south coast.

Once I have that I will try get it all together.

Anyone else out there taking desperate measures to get some practice in?

I have asked the electricians on site to make me something, which should be available tomorrow.

Also I have purchased some netting and clips, so hopefully I will be practicing at the weekend

And I took the opportunity to also purchased a new chipping net, my old one has seen better days

I have the puttout mat and cup but I’m looking for a net and mat for the back garden as it’s all slabbed not sure how to keep it all in place without boring holes in the slabs. Not looking to spend a fortune on this so if anyone has any recommendations that would be fantastic......

I missing golf more than I miss fairways...........sorry I’ll just get ma coat.

This is how far I got today.

Designed so I can slide off the top section and fold down.

Nets on order from a net company in Devon.

    Happy days.

It's just the putt out set up for putting and pitching and chipping in the back garden. Chipping with Pro V's and pitching with foam balls. Currently off an old door mat until the ground firms up.

    So far so good

Looking at hanging a sheet or something in the garage so I can hit Pro V's with a 1/2 swing.

  8. My net got delivered yesterday -but now it’s out of stock. The putting green I completed last year on a really small budget - done all groundwork myself and found professional nylon grass on Gumtree. Really pleased with how it’s all set up now. Think I’ll keep it along the width of the green.
Keep healthy everyone - enjoy your home practise.

    Looks awesome

Can’t wait for the net to arrive now.

Have the local pro trying to get me a mat to collect from the range to borrow.

    Missing hitting balls now.

    Nice.

    How you finding the g80?

    Ian
  12. Love the 80. Helping me on the range especially. Lots of things for me to work on and even play a virtual round. Trying to up my club and ball speed with my driver this year to so helps check on that too.

    Nice.

    With the money then.

Just had a result on the home practice front.

My local range has let me take an old mat from the closed premises.

I will make sure I repay the favour in range ball purchases when we’re back to normal.

    Just waiting the net now

    Hi there.

Yes have one and yes defo worth it.

Can really focus you on hitting the cup.

    Enjoy.
  23. I definitely recommend the PuttOut, i went all out and bought the mat, mirror and gates as well last year and they've never been used as much!
My current setup is chipping off an astro turf mat onto the PuttOut mat trying to hole out!
