The only noticeable is difference is how the sun reflects off of each wedges. Some people prefer chrome with more reflection or black with a more matte finish that dulls the sunlight.

I agree, it's all about being comfortable with what you're playing with and if you are doing well with what you have, don't mess with it. I play the tour nickel myself and really like them. I think the black looks cool and is unique but I don't want to rish having my eyes on something else.

If you've always been satisfied with chrome wedges, I'd stick to those. I played with some of the raw steel ones (black) and prefer the tour nickel. I don't think there are any differences in the grinds, just the finish. I do know the raw steel ones will rust over time.
