There is some low-hanging fruit there to save a few strokes.

Dispersion averages around a measly 2 degrees, but found it too lofted and bouncy for more than 50, or for short pitches and chipping around the green. Just tried out the SM9 60 degree with D grind @ 12 degrees with Trackman. No matter the type of shot, my average dispersion was 0.5 degrees left and 8600 rpm and nearly zero sidespin---that was across 39 shots at 50-70 yards. The mark that's left and the spin is amazing.

RE: Just played with my new SM9 wedges - wow

Great testimonial. Only helps reinforce all the hard work Mr. Vokey has put into the development of these great clubs. Those others you were playing are good as well. Bob Vokey and Roger C have revolutionized the wedge industry. Of course I agree that Vokey makes a better wedge that appeals to all levels of play. Some pros may play other brands of clubs but you will find the Vokey wedges in the bags.

RE: Just played with my new SM9 wedges - wow

Thanks for the input. I fall into your category...slow swing speed and don't hit it very far. I'm definitely going to check out the SM9s!!
