Recently upgraded my sm6’s to the sm10’s and decided to change my gapping as now a member at different course so changed from 52 - 58 to now 54 - 60.10S and feel I have much better control 100 yards in

My first ever Vokey wedge was a 258-12.

Played just about every iteration since 2007.

Went the route with the cc: wedges in 2010. One of my better wedge lineups was SM4 50-08F, 54-11M, 58-06L and 64-07T.

Discoverered K grind in 2018. Played it until 2023.

For 3 years, played a 54-10S set to 52 as a gap wedge.

Tinkered with D grind at 58*. Here we are, back to 58-14K for high bounce.

I've been using low bounce K as a LW for over a year now.

What has been working for the past 5 years is a 48-10F set to 46.

For most of my earlier golf career I just had an iron set that went down to a gap wedge, then had a random sand wedge I picked up from a friend. Adding SM10s (54 and 58 degree) completely changed my game. Feeling like I have reliable weapons within 100 yards changed up my whole course strategy. My advice is spend alot of time with them learning various use cases (around the green chipping, pitching, longer distance wedge finesse shots).

Welcome to TT and Vokey Wedges.

I started my journey with Vokey wedges in 2012 with the Spin Milled series. In 2018 Went to the SM 7's and I fell in love all over again with Vokey wedges. I played those wedges until this year. Now gaming the SM 10's and love them more than my SM 7's. Shots feel like butter with these wedges.

Awesome that you’ve been gaming so long! I am expanding my 18 y/o set one piece at a time. The GT2 driver is my first upgrade, now adding my 60 into the lineup. Looking forward to getting it done! Irons are next!

My wedge game started at 56.10S in 1984. Then added 64* and 60*. Tried a lot of different lofts when I was younger. As I got older, learned to manage my game better. Carry a 58.08 every now and then, but back to where it started. 56.10S as my gamer. Just turned 79. Golf at my age is about having fun. If I shoot in the mid 80s, I am a happy camper, but will settle for the low 90s. As Lee Trevino said, the sooner you get it on the ground! Works for me. Old school, 40 yards, eight iron.
