  1. Moving to Vokey wedges and I'd like some opinions on what works best for tight green side chipping and fairway shots from in close (20-30 yards). I play on more firmer type conditions with very little to no divot taken. Obviously I need a club that can get out of the sand too, but the need for that is much less frequent that chipping/fairway shots so would not be a primary selection factor.

Go to the Vokey site and check out the Wedge Fitting Tool. It’s a good start. Then go talk to a fitter. They’ll give you the best loft/grind combination for your swing and course conditions.
  3. Thanks for the response. I did a couple iterations, the 2nd and 3rd recommendations were consistently 54-10S and 58-06K. The first rec was either a 48-10F or 50-08F depending on the loft I gave for my pitching wedge. I guess I'm just curious whether the 54 & 58 in those bounces are good for the types of chipping I mentioned, or are they more geared towards bunker play.

The S does not have heal relief grind so playing it with open face does not lay flat as much as say an M grind. It still handles tight lie square faced chips real well and can be pretty good from sand. The low K is one I use as I need the extra depth in the sole to help me in bunkers. It’s okay chipping and lob shots but I found the T grind better on tight lies. I was willing to give up that capability to get better bunker shots. Everyone is different and what works for me may not work for you. The best way to know is go to a fitting or even an event where they feature opportunities to try out all the wedges. They have done that at quite a few of the events this year.
